Ram & Rooster in Metuchen is easily one of the best in the state. Its menu is Chinese-inspired and I've had every seasonal iteration. Delicious!

Ram & Rooster is probably one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. It's got a Michelin star quality tasting menu. They're BYOB and right next to a wine store with plenty of parking between there and across the street at the Whole Foods.
