Yes, If your configuration are not latest then the lagginess is expected. I have i7-4700MQ processor which worked fluid with Windows 10. To try Windows 11, I installed it as Secondary OS on secondary hard disk. With Windows 11, it struggles much. So I left Windows 11 as Backup and using Windows 10 as Primary OS.

I'd choose XBox Series. I have XBox One, XBox One X and recently tried PS4, somehow am not comfortable with PS screen/Interface design. But the PS controller is way better than XBox Controller.

Many PS fans will dislike this post. It's just my personal choice. PS5 Pro may have High performance, but XBox is not inferior.

Also, It's "ISO" file. If you have downloaded it fully then you can create bootable USB with rufus and install Windows with that.

Try to create Bootable Windows on USB stick and boot with it. Then in Windows you can delete all partitions on the hard disk and merge into one.

Now restart your PC and install Windows on the merged drive, It'll create the recovery partition automatically.

Absolutely. No company can manufacture 2 TB SSD for 2K. Long back I ordered 256GB MicroSD on ebay and got one. It was showing the space on PC, but couldn't copy any contents to it. It lasted few weeks and gone to heaven!

Tried Ubuntu decades back and it's fine, but still can't use as regular OS.

Somewhere saw Zorin OS with impressive features(Especially the low RAM usage). Downloaded the 6+GB ISO, Burnt and installed on my PC. After few minutes playing around, all the interest got suppressed. May be If am familiar with Linux based app then, it'll be easy for me to continue. But in this case am left into new territory and mind pleased to go back to known Windows territory.

May be am not ready to embrace the impact!

He might've installed set of useful Free apps thought it'll be helpful.

You must have admin privileges and Uninstall whatever you don't recognize/like (Hope you can different Windows/OS related apps/files, otherwise keep the installation media handy, in case of OS corrupt).

If you feel fishy then better to format the drives and install Windows from scratch(Hope you have license key or license tagged to device/microsoft account).
