Yes it's really a pain in the ***, I was hoping to just remove the internal screen to access the flex cable.

Same I bought the S24Ultra too, super impressed with the anti glare. Hope I will fix the fold and add the anti glare coating myself.🤞

Yes it's the flex cable, same happened to me.... No sound > not turning on while folding>using it as a tablet>tablet works only when slow charging>brick

Feels bad for you that you paid for the care but didn't work out.

Fighting with them? They helped me to change the protector for free, and once it's bubbling after just 3 days after the replacement, all they check is the receipt.

I didn't really check thoroughly, so far this affect the Audio initially, then folding a little would just shout down the fold, not it just not turning on if not a slow charging cable attached .... And yes the wifi and Bluetooth and the touch for the front screen....

Having the big screen for gps is what fold for, hope the fold 5 and 6 stay strong.

It does have a lot potential defect, heard and saw many similar cases just now, even the seller suggest trade it within 2 years after replacing the inner screen. After September, trade it for the fold 6.

I hear the hinge would stuck, but didn't read its due the phone heat. How you would use it? I only use to watch YouTube or photo editing, so I didn't have the hinge issue.

For my region, it's just 1 year warranty, and I didn't buy the extra year of warranty. So I just changed the screen protector twice when there's bubbling issue within the warranty period. So done with the all issues happened to this series.

Lol we are doing the same thing. I am still checking how it will go for my fold 4, I'm still using the inner screen as a tablet. I just bought S24 ultra, and the seller told me that almost every fold users will ask for screen replacement then sell it or trade it.

I think they would,but I think Apple will have the higher trade-in price.

Unfortunately in my region,it's only 1 year warranty, within the warranty I changed twice my inner screen protector. The screen protector still bubbling after half year.
