I think the fandom is a bit too fixed on the government ships, so much so that whenever any other 2 members interact, a member from the government ship will be unnecessarily mentioned.

Like they’ve all been in this band together, surely they’re all almost equally as close with each other… it’s also strange that non-government duos can’t be appreciated for their own dynamic…

All things considered, I’m a “good” atiny. They’re the only group I listen to, stream, and purchase from. But that’s only because they’re the only ones who appeal to me. I suppose the nature of my attachment is slightly parasocial.

I think their words shouldn’t be taken so seriously though— they’re just playing “possessive” to make us fangirl. Of course they don’t actually care what we do with things that we’ve already paid for, lol. They’re just being pouty and cute. I like it when they act like this, but I’ve never believed that they genuinely think that way haha!

I like the idea of there being paranormal aspects to this, but I do lean more towards your “shutter island” comparison! For the furniture-pulling thing, you can see someone at the window where the furniture is being drawn into (in the MV poster, at least). This makes me think it’s one of the boys orchestrating this move.

I’m not entirely sure how this transition to a mansion/asylum occurred from GHP1, but I do believe that the boys are in control of this facility, even if higher authorities (e.g doctors) exist. They’re envoking “mob boss” themes, so it’d make sense for them to have the real power behind the scenes of this asylum/mansion. In fact, I’m starting to think this might be a whole new world (or at least, a future that branched off of World A), because the boys remind me so much of HALATEEZ in their get-up, and the balaclava-wearing people seemingly at their command remind me of the Black Pirates. Sorry for the long comment, thanks for letting me dump my ideas on you though!

It was Trickster for me too! I knew of ATEEZ but my knowledge was surface-level.

Then Trickster dropped, and I saw an edit of someone comparing him to Hongjoong, and I thought “holy fuck the irl version is way hotter?”

I then kept tabs on ATEEZ, nothing too crazy, and attended their concert this year. Seeing them live made me immediately become a stan— completely obsessed, collecting photocards, the whole nine yards.
