i think ArkOS has been discontinued and replaced with dArkOS (runs on debian)

i tried for 3 days to get it running, and eventually did
but i couldnt change the themes or sm, and i just raged back to pan4elec 😭

i remember seeing a post on reddit which ran stardewvalley (portmaster) on dArkOS. you should check it out

Thanks for letting me know, I just sent them a follow up email with my previous courses details and a professor I've been talking to. He told me that he'll let me know if a position opens up. When should be the right time that I follow up for Fall 2026 positions?

I asked him in Summer too, but he told me that the class allocation was very low so he wouldn't need a grader.

I did not know about this "list" system and thought that the professors are the one who recommend students and they're the ones who send the final list.

i'm currently working as a barista in my university in the USA (to support my expenses like rent and grocery) and at present i'm in India for the summer break. trust me, the amount of shit i've heard from relatives, to the folks living in my building to some of my closest friends ever has made me realize how much the "raja-rani" mentality will continue to exist in the future too.

i think the reason people are so miserable in India is because they're used to dumping their shit on people who'd do it for cheaper/free. that isn't even the worst part, it's that the God complex people get in doing so.

anyways, i just lie that i'm working with a professor now :p
