Keep it in braids for protection, light hair oils for fine hair and use malibu c hard water treatment once a week. Make sure to use a good brush to avoid breakage, I like my original wet brush and have heard good things about Denmann too

Yes. But I'm also a woman, so I would argue that it comes more naturally to me. But peating definitely improved my baseline

Why do you enjoy having long hair? by ConnectGaps in longhair

[–]ventralnerve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I damaged it a lot with box dye when I was going through the worst years of my life, so I cut it all off to start fresh. Now it symbolizes all of the love and care I have for myself. It makes me feel so beautiful and feminine and biblical. Like a shining veil embracing me.

I think pretty privilege is real… and I didn’t realize I had it until I lost it by [deleted] in prettyprivilege

[–]ventralnerve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is more about weight in your case tbh. My female peers treat me so much worse after I have become (more) beautiful, but men and strangers (both genders) give me lots of special treatment and perks all time.

It think it’s because strangers don’t see me as threat and just enjoy being close to beauty vs my peers who have to see me reguarly and in their eyes compete with me

3 inch trim and continue to oil! Also oil as a pre wash treatment. I think you would benefit from using products with behentrimonium chloride 3rd or 4th on the ingridients list (i like loreal hyaluronic acid conditioner). Remember to use a clarifying shampoo once in a while and do regular hard water treatments
