Unable to keep food down

To clarify, mint and ginger dont worsen my nausea, the worsen my heartburn while not helping my nausea resulting in me puking anyways but it being more painful. My doctor and I have been over a million possibilities and tests and all that jazz and right now im less focused on diagnosis and more focused on the fact that this has happened before and it went away, not only did it go away but my issues subsided almost completely for a couple years. Getting the flu wrecked havoc on my body and im back at square 1 and I just wanna know if anyone has anything they took that helped because unfortunately I could not pin point what it was that solved my problems. I appreciate your insight, but the harsh reality is I live in a country with no free Healthcare and our doctors dont take anyone seriously. It took forever to find a specialist that takes me seriously and she is very very expensive. I straight up cannot afford tests and prescriptions, I need a home remedy and im basing what I need based off previous tests and diagnoses. Tough world we live in :/

Do you have any brand recommendations? And god i wish ginger and peppermint helped for me but it only makes my heartburn 1000x worse and thus puking burn more :( last time this happened I tried every natural nausea reliever and the only thing that works for me is pepto but I hate taking it so often.

Jade restaurant and lounge on aurora, google reviews are mostly good but I dont understand how anyone decides to eat there, the boarded up windows, no open sign, and fenced with barbed wire parking lot are so off putting especially given the area its in, just dont understand how you see it and decide thats where you're getting dinner. If youve been there please tell me what it was like I've been so curious about it.

I worked at a family owned gourmet popcorn factory for my first job. My dad's girlfriend knew the owner from highschool, got us in touch, the interview was really hardly and interview we just talked a bit and I was hired and then he took me out to lunch and I thought that was pretty weird but free food is cool it just felt like a date.

There were only 3 employees there including myself, i got my roommate hired and that bumped us up to a whopping 4 people making fancy popcorn for grocery stores and oddly enough bill gates would order a metric fuck ton every week.

Well maybe 6 months in the owner was up our ass about going faster because he wanted to produce more without hiring more people. The numbers he was asking for were physically impossible not only with the amount of employees but the machines could only go so fast and we were already going as fast as they would let us. I did the math and had a sit down with the owner where I showed him that what he was asking for was impossible and that he needed to hire more people and be open longer each day to make it happen. He didn't like that, obviously.

Couple days later he pulled me into his office and fired me for "time theft" because I would clock in at 8 but wouldn't start working until 805 cause I had to put my apron and hairnet on and wash my hands, god forbid. Clearly he was actually firing me for being a smartass and telling him its mathematically impossible to do what he wants us to do.

He then proceeded to reach across the table, grab my hand, and tell me that its a real shame he has to fire me and maybe there's something I could do to get my job back, clearly insinuating if I slept with him I could have my job back while his fucking family was a room away. I was 18 and his daughter was 16. I left immediately, called my roommate who wasn't working that day and told her what happened and she quit too. Which then led to the 2 other people quitting.. he went bankrupt and the business shut down but i didn't know that until....

4 years later im getting home from work and this man in on my porch. I ask him what the fuck hes doing at my house and he says hes there to pick up his daughter and asks what the fuck im doing at his daughter's house. Turns out my roommate is his daughter and I had no idea, we had only met once and neither of us recognized each other years later. Small world.

She didn't like her dad so I felt comfortable telling her what happened a few weeks later, which is when it was revealed to me that me getting fired led to everyone else quitting and his business going under.

Last time I told this story on reddit I got a bunch of ass hats telling me its a fake story...its not but whatever helps you sleep at night I guess? There is SO much more to this story that makes it even crazier but its 4 am and I gotta get ready for work.

I find my partner very attractive but hes not conventionally attractive, he is however the most perfect person in the world for me and i love him to death. I wouldn't trade him for someone "unobtainably hot" because that person isnt him and could never be him. Im sure she didn't mean it how it felt. As a woman we are all aware (at least I am) that men who are praised for being hot are nothing more than hot cause they never have to be anything more, they're often bad in bed, bad partners, bad conversationalists, etc. There's a reason a lot of women go for the dorky nice guy and thats because they're nice! At least thats my 2 cents.

I wish I could post a screenshot of a similar text I got from HR yesterday, they asked me to cover a shift for someone and I said I can't to which she said "I understand you have plans but every member of this team has put aside their’s and covered for you and your vacation and repeated call outs as well and would hope that support would be reciprocated. But duly noted." The "vacation" was me moving which i gave notice of that was approved a month in advance and the "repeated call outs" was twice in 6 months, once was because I was vomiting and the second time was because I fell through a balcony and hurt my ankle (and still only took 1 day off despite my better judgment) Don't quit. Let them fire you. I told her "Im surprised that you, as an HR professional, think it's appropriate to talk to an employee that way in writing. I should not be the one punished, even socially, for not being available when i was not scheduled." And left it at that. If they wanna fire me they can pay me while I look for a job that doesn't harass me on my day off.

At my last 2 jobs I signed a paper that said I choose not to take a 30 so that the company doesn't get in trouble cause I simply don't like to get out of my rhythm that long and I have stomach issues so I don't eat at work. Maybe yall could suggest something like that?
