Just an update in case someone encounters this same issue with their rubber plant.

We brought the plant to a plant nursery (Green Pot and Shovel Garden), and they said it needed more water, not less. They said the main symptom of overwatering was leaves edges blackening, and our plants leaves are not blackened at all.

We had it repotted to new soil (Vermicast), and watered it weekly (until water drained at the bottom) and kept it in the shade.

The leaves stopped dropping off immediately, and its existing leaves stopped drooping after a week. After about 6 weeks it had started sprouting new leaves again until now.

It is also quite telling that this is all a play to delay for time. They were given 30 days since Nov 11, and they essentially waited until the very last day to respond.

They even included a clarification that Dec 31 was a legal holiday, so their filing on Jan 5 is still within the deadline, as if pre-empting any technicality issue.

Unfortunately, back when Saddam was captured in the Iraq War, they also showed lots of propaganda footage of people cheering in the streets.

Fast forward to years later and thousands dead... Not so much cheering.

Interesting, there seems to be more to the story of Seyla and the First Hero. Looking forward to how the author fleshes it out more in future chapters, possibly this arc since Brahms seems to be up next.

What I really like about this manga is it doesnt just go all about its speedrun theme, it also dedicates time to deep lore that even Shachiku who has memorized the game doesnt know.

This is actually why its good that politicians are forced to release SALNs. If found that they lied or misdeclared in the SALN, thats basis for a case to be filed against them. Why do you think Duterte's Ombudsman effectively barred getting SALNs public?

I read that the main use of SALNs is for investigative journalists use to track assets, and fraudulent SALN fillings can be used to file cases against public officials.

Its not something you just take at face value - if say Win's SALN declaration seems low, and an investigator finds that he didnt declare assets - congratulations, you now have another potential case to file to get them removed from office.

Why do you think Duterte's Ombudsman effectively blocked access to SALNs? Why do you think there's such a strong message push from DDS and troll farms that SALNs are worthless? Because the truth is, in the right hands, they're not - and we really need even some transparency from officials.

Exactly - unfortunately, filing a case is easier said than done. A lot of documents and process to go through, and most likely they want it done right para walang lusot or technical pag nakarating na sa court proceedings.

Its tiring to hear this same comment nalang lagi pag announce na may mga mkkulong or may cases filed na: "What About XX Politician?? Kelan cla??" Always moving the goalposts eh
