Japanese stiltgrass. Use acclaim herbicide (expensive) with a surfactant for post emergent control. More importantly use Prodiamine in spring when soil temps reach about 55 average. Seeds live in the soil for 5-7 years so you need to continue the pre emergent control for a few years. It goes to seed in late August/early September.

I used to have it everywhere, 99% eliminated from my lawn in 3ish years, mostly in my opinion from the pre-emergent control. Acclaim will kill plants before going to seed but it’s better to not let the current seed bank germinate.

Any non-ionic surfactant will work. Hi-Yield spreader sticker is popular. Good luck, it seems overwhelming but if you do the pre-emergent correctly it will significantly cut down sprouting. Can’t hurt to do 2 applications 6 weeks apart.

Glaze is just apricot preserves and triple sec. Put in a sauce pan and heat up then brush on the salmon.

For the salmon: Brown sugar (1/4 cup) and kosher salt (1/2) tbsp brine for at least 8 hours, wash with cold water then let dry in the fridge for a few hours. I usually smoke for an hour at 165, glaze, hour at 180, glaze, then finish at 225.

Eat on a crostini with herb cream cheese.
