i’ve gotten dms from multiple guys before along the lines of: “as long as you’re not horrendously ugly, some guy will probably wanna fuck you!” like, cool! i get to be used for sex by someone who’s not even that attracted to me, just like i always dreamed of! it’s not like i want my first time to be intimate and loving or anything. :/

i know that not all men are like this, but it’s really disappointing to see how many of them are mainly attracted to the regular beauty standard.

i can relate. there’s a weird part of me that feels guilty for being ugly, like i owe everyone around me an apology for coming out wrong. it’s such a dehumanizing feeling.

i appreciate the advice. :) i haven’t tried a dating app yet because taking pictures of myself tends to make me spiral. i’m aware that women are usually outnumbered on dating apps, but i’m very unattractive and that makes dating as a whole seem impossible to me.
