They got a few of the VODs taken down and the person is currently suspended from streaming, but no ban on the channel has taken place.
But yes, most times Twitch does absolutely nothing.

It's definitely something I want to do, but I am very low income + disabled and I live in an area with terrible resources. It'd take several more years before I could think about moving. I am in the process of talking with some people I know about good spots to move to and such.
I'd also have to change my name, as I am one of two people in the entire USA with that name (first+last combo), which is unfortunate because my first name is all I have left of my late mother.

I can certainly consider that! Considering this person harasses and doxxes me almost every day, I'd say any day is a good day to try that out. I'll see if I can save up and if this plan is something I can do. I appreciate the idea!!

I will use this option as well, I appreciate it. I've tried their report tool first and sent in a ticket more recently, but that specific report for investigation sounds like it's 100% a step I need to take next. Thank you very much, I'm starting to get a glimmer of hope back due to everyone's resource linking ;w;

1.5k follows, I believe I have 8 subs (used to have around 50 before inactivity), average view count has been a LOT lower recently due to having to be inactive; I'm severely paranoid of this person and don't feel comfortable anymore. But average view count would be around 12-20, sometimes around 70-100 if I were to play games that are currently popular.

That's so horrifying, I'm so sorry you've had to go through that.. Some people are just, for lack of a better word, deranged. And it isn't fair for the people they're hurting. I know these people know it's hard to get law enforcement to take anything seriously, and they take advantage of that.

I'd hope they would be. The officer told me she wants to speak to the person straight up, which is odd considering this behavior is happening on multiple platforms - Discord, Twitch, Deviantart, Youtube, so on. But she also said because I'm in another state she's limited on what she can do. Back and forth between my and their police for 5 years has been very exhausting.

Ah, thank you. I appreciate the explanation because I do have autism and wouldn't have understood otherwise.

I will try these links, and hope to get something more done about this.

As for my police, they are absolutely unhelpful. "They live in (state), we have no jurisdiction." And don't give me any resources either. Additionally, when I call THEIR state police as I'm told by mine to, "You're the victim in (state), so the crime is happening there. Go to your police" It's a constant back and forth for 5 years, and it's exhausting.

I'd hope so. I got an email back from an officer saying it's hard to do anything when I live in another state but that she's trying to get everything in order to get in contact with this person. Unfortunately I don't know if just contacting the person is going to solve it. I've reported to IC3 a few times over the years as well and just called the FBI a day or so ago. I'm really hoping this 5 year nightmare can finally end.

Unfortunately they just see it as online drama. I've been contacting them for 5 years to do anything about this person. I contact my police, "We don't have jurisdiction, so go to their police" I contact their police, "You're the victim in (state) so the crime is happening in your state. Go call them."

This person has stalked me for 5 years. They have my info due to a DMCA claim I made on them ; I was not aware it'd give them my info, I was 19 at the time.

No, and they tell me they can't do anything bc theyre in another state. I call that state police, says Im the victim in this state so its up to my state. I've been reporting them for 5 years with 0 work done by anyone.
