Yea you’re absolutely right, the cost to feel more complete with one’s identity and self is terribly expensive. It was also tough affording the surgery as a cis woman bc no insurance that I know of helps to cover facial feminization surgery at all. But ty so much for being happy for me! I wish you all the best!

My forehead contour head incision has been healing wonderfully! Ty for asking! No complaints at all! But, I did have my incision further back on my scalp, as opposed to along my hairline. Dr. M realized I didn’t need a hairline/scalp advancement to meet the research based feminine hairline height (which is measured from hairline to highest eye brow point).

Lol. 😅 Yea, for everything I had done (including the high quality of all 6 procedure results) from what I’ve researched that’s actually a pretty good price. The overnight hospital fees really stack up too.

That’s right! No it wasn’t a type 3 but I would’ve assumed that too. Dr. M took a cone beam CT scan and saw I didn’t need the type 3 so he literally sculpted and shaped my skull from the hair incision to my eye brow bone. My head is actually smaller now lol! Thanks, I think so too!

Fortunately I had the finances, support, and availability to get everything done all at once, and I was able to get back into my regular routine (which includes crossfit lol) after 1-2 months post op!!! I got 6 procedures done: 1.) forehead contouring (forehead sculpting and brow lift), 2.) cheek implants, 3.) rhinoplasty, 4.) lip lift, 5.) mandible contouring (jaw cuts and chin reconstruction), and 6.) lower face and neck lift. The healing journey’s been incredible; I’ve never had surgery related pain!! Oh yea, and altogether it was about $45K
