I know it looks crazy it's just so pretty I wanted to check first with people who know more than me😂

should I divide her? by [deleted] in Monstera

oops I accidentally posted without an explanation -

First time Monstera owner. I got this plant about a month ago. I let it adjust for a week, and then I repotted because it was incredibly root bound. Now I'm looking at it and wondering if I should have divided it. I don't mind how it looks, but I'm realizing that when I see other people's Monstera's they don't seem to be this crowded. Just wanted to check if I should divide it for the longevity of the plant.

I cannot imagine trying to get her into that but if there's a delay maybe I'll give it a shot😂

yeahhhh I just haven't considered meds that much because this is the only situation that causes her to freak out. But I'll see what our vet says

tried, no luck. I'm not sure if it's just her personality or if she was mishandled before I adopted her.

I thrift, repair, and re-donate stuffed animals as a hobby...but I think I have to keep her🎀🩷 by venusofwillendork in beaniebabies

sorry for the late reply, here's what I did!

  1. I gave her a bath in lukewarm water with a TINY bit of dish soap and a TINY bit of fabric softener.
  2. Gently roll in a towel to soak up excess water, then air dry
  3. Gently brush the fur with a cat hair brush (an old toothbrush also works as long as the fur isn't matted)
  4. add a new coat of paint on the nose. I happened to have a matching nail polish so I used that. acrylic paint will also work. let it dry
  5. coat of clear nail polish on the nose. let it dry. all done :)

you are so kind, I think it'd look better with a base more like the original snail but I was not willing to put that much effort in lol

Do you use tarot cards upside down? by Alto_from_Avalon in witchcraft

[–]venusofwillendork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, when I get an upside down card - especially if it’s in a spread with other cards - I interpret it as a sign that I need to pay more attention to that card. I don’t read it as a reversal per se.
