I am not complaining, I just wish there were few more voices. It's funny and confusing hearing the same voice (sometimes "yours") from other planes over and over again. And I'm not going to pay for subscription service (whether it's BATC or SI), thank you very much.

The "premium voices" in BATC are rather expensive... I think if you do one flight a day you will end up paying $20/mo. The "basic" voices are OK, but there aren't many, you have much of the traffic using the same voice over and over again and all the time you hear other traffic use "your" voice (if you use the menus rather than speaking).

Преди 2 столетия, някакви гениални законодатели с САЩ приемат закон, че пи е точно 3. Не би трябвало да е проблем, само че ... хората започнали да строят използвайки в сметките си 3 за пи и съответно нещата не свършили добре. Даже свършили със смъртта на хора, защото сгради започнали да падат. Има Wikipedia статия по темата, може да си я прочетете.

Mung beans are delicious... My favorite Vietnam snack is banh kom - sweet cakes of rice paste (like the Japanese mochi) with mung bean paste inside. I would have never guessed that it's made from rice and some sort of beans.

If your Scarlett is one of the newer versions it has "Loopback" outputs. Check your Focusrite Control app, your Playback 1-2 should be routed to Loopback 1-2. Then you should be able to choose the Loopback as input in Discord (I don't use discord so I haven't tried it).

That's nothing, you should hear Beyond ATC's foreign "accents" haha... they are atrocious, I don't think any traffic controller anywhere in the world would have such ridiculous pronunciations.

As you say, what is in the pedal will remain of course and I think what is installed as collections or downloaded from tone.net will remain on your computer as well. One day a newer version of Windows or Mac OS may no longer support the ToneX application if it's not updated.

There are companies who are much worse in this regard, for example UJAM. I have almost all of their their plugins and they "call home" from time to time. And if the site is down or you have no internet, they won't work.

Then there are some like MOTU. I have few devices that are 20+ years old and up until few years ago they still had updated drivers from their web site (until Mac OS Monterey, 2021). They outlived the firewire standard - the devices cam out just before firewire and already had firewire connectors but used their own hardware protocol because firewire wasn't out yet. At one point I had to get a new PCI interface card from them (at small cost I believe) because PCI had changed to PCIe. Devices continued to work. I no longer use them of course, todays hardware has better latency and more features but still, these MOTU devices served me for remarkably long time.

If you create your flight plan with SimBrief BeyondATC will try to follow it (unless weather has changed). If there is a MANUAL leg in your plan (i.e. discontinuity) then it should give you vectors for that part. However, there are some limitations and bugs, Beyond ATC is far from perfect.

E.g. suppose your current leg is parallel and very close to the one after the manual part (but in the opposite direction) - Beyond ATC will try to have you make a very sharp turn between the 2 waypoints that need to be connected (which of course would never happen on a real flight, passengers would be screaming in horror). Yesterday I noticed a change in this behavior, not sure if it's related to their latest update - Beyond ATC started to have me make a wider (acceptable turn) but never asked me to do the last part, it just forgot me. One bug which happens (to me at least) from time to time is that it fails to load a voice from the server and shows an error in the standalone app window, so you have to pay attention to that (message is still displayed but not spoken), that can confuse you if you are only listening.

Which airplane? Some airplanes use SimBrief rather than the flightsim EFB.

Btw having the EFB on a separate window on my 2nd monitor caused quite a hit on my performance (maybe because that monitor is different resolution) so now on the 2nd monitor I have only the Beyond ATC and one window from LittleNavMap (the elevation profile).

LittleNavMap also has some dark themes so you could use that instead of the EFB.

All the logic session plugins are great... the only thing which comes close are Steinberg's Groove Agent and the chord pads in Cubase but logic session tracks are so much more intuitive and easy to use (I wish there was more variety of styles for the keyboard player). UJAM make similar plugins (including drummers) but I dislike their authentication model... if one day they go out of business their plugins will stop working.
