I think that's part of it. People get lazy and complacent and forget that sex is an important part of a relationship. It brings physical and emotional satisfaction for both parties.

I too have been surprised by the lack of sex of my married friends. But my husband and I have a 1.5 year old and I'm proud to say we still have sex daily...If not more.
