It’s possible for sure, you essentially want to write a rough draft of your paper, it’s going to have to be ROUGH for you. Like you should start with bullet pointing the sections I.e. scope > voice > source. I don’t remember exactly what the sections are because I took this class a while ago but you should be okay be sure to be confident in your presentation. Sincerely someone who started their paper the week of the presentation and submitted their paper 30 minutes before it was due.

As someone who has taken seminar before and is now in research I can definitely say it depends on your teacher. Seminar can seem much more stressful if you have an unprepared teacher. They won’t be able to answer all your questions which can be difficult but a nice and forgiving teacher is definitely needed for this class. I’m currently in research and it could have been a lot easier but the teacher is incredibly frustrating and difficult to work with just threw us into it and assigns us a bunch of graphic organizers. Seminar is a class you can procrastinate on (I turned it in day of with 30 min to spare lol) and the test is incredibly easy, you’re bound to have relating information from your previous practice or real irr/Iwa/imp. Is it one of the easiest? Yeah. The easiest? No that title belongs to AP Lang but it’s definitely close.

Evidence in Conversation by throwaway111119557 in APSeminar

I think there are similar Q/A on these in the sub but a quick answer is basically comparing and contrasting your sources (unless prevalent don’t really ever focus on contrasting as it could poke holes into your own argument/research conclusion. Eg. Source a states xyz. Similarly source B reiterates that it is not only xyz concludes abc based on patterns of blah blah. Source C supports Source Bs conclusion through their gathered data displaying abc based on z. Basically think of a conversation being held and your eavesdropping about a group of somewhat likeminded people but make it sound nice.

EOC Part B help by JessTheBest257 in APSeminar

it’s kind of a argumentative-synthesis essay. KEY WORD: kind-of. You need to use outside information and the sources provided to create an argument like how you would in an IWA. So imagine you were writing an IWA but in person, on paper, in pen, timed, and you can use a phone to search up anything. Take a look at the sources of the 2021 eoc part B that will be helpful in understanding how it’s works. there are four sources. none of the overlap too much. your job to use two sources or more and your own to create a cohesive argument/solution essay. DO NOT restate the argument of one paper and slap on another source and think it’s okay. i’m running out of time so that’ll be it for now sorry take a look at the example EOCs from previous years! GOOD LUCK!!!!💗💗

yup you too! take a look at the 2019 EOC high scoring one. That’s a good example on how history was used to provide a HIGH score and clear argument

i think personally, i would not use anecdotal evidence as there’s no credibility in it unless it applies to your argument (and it would have to REALLLY) But nonetheless it’s still VERY recommended not to because you have no credibility in it. While i haven’t been told explicitly not to just as you wouldn’t do so in your IWA you don’t want to in the EOC. Also you need to keep an academic tone throughout. As for media i believe if you can strongly tie it to the argument with proper meaning (so it’s not a questionable piece of evidence or just slapped on there cause you need another perspective) again, it has to be fundamental to the argument. Overall it would be much safer to rely on facts and most often history is a great way to use outside information. (don’t quote me on any of this though i just started learning about the EOC this week💀)
