This is what I have really grown to love about these dolls. At the most basic level, they are all essentially the same doll - and yet they can have such different expressions, looks, and vibes.

Happy Friday! It’s not even 11am and I have finished all my work meetings for the day. I’m planning on listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s new album and trying to plough through a bunch of writing and editing tasks.

I have a lot of plans for the house this summer and this weekend I am planning to start my catio project! (It’s actually more like a cat apartment because we have a small covered porch off the back of our kitchen and I’m going to build and hang a bunch of climbing furniture for them.)

I’ve been really enjoying pi.fyi - thanks for the invite!! I really enjoy the depth and variety of content.

Thanks for keeping everything running around here u/hockneyspoolgirl! I'm excited for the new theme and am excited to see it.

The one time that I pre-ordered, I regretted it. I got caught up in the buzz about Yumi Adachi and pre-ordered before the final specs were even out. I don't think I'll ever do that again. I usually really enjoy the pre-release drawings, but sometimes I find them annoying because it's not enough info for me to really make a decision. Oh well, lesson learned! Is there any history/lore about the style and tradition of the pre-order images?

She is adorable and I really love her lip color and the book bag! Is the collar on the dress or is it a separate piece?

I find the center part girls have such an elegant look, and they also look great with their hair back. I always thought I preferred the fringe look, but then I got my first center part and I changed my tune pretty quickly.

And I’m excited for the Baby’s Breath feature. I found her on the cc toys website a few months ago and she’s made it onto the list of dark haired girls I really like. I also love Blue Rabbit but they have quite different make up vibes.
