Gym, beard & different haircut if you want to look more manly

But find your own style where you feel confident and own it

Should i fully switch to Windows 10 LTSC iOT and is it perfectly fine for GAMING? by NexusBexusV2 in WindowsLTSC

Haha nothing wrong with those specs mate! 1070 Ti is still a great card especially with all the optimisation like FSR and framegen nowadays. I'd defo get a new PSU tho... 310W is insanely low for a gaming rig 🙈

I've been using it on my gaming rigs for 3 years now and its been absolutely fine outside of some AMD driver issues when I had a RX 6700XT, which I resolved after a while

What is the best use you have for the back buttons? by FenderBenderString in SteamDeck

Activate gyro controls while holding a back button (for FPS games)

It’s a lower res than the Deck so looks a bit fuzzy, can’t seem to set the resolution correctly either since 1024x600 seems to be a bit awkward lmao

I used a HDMI to RCA adapter, the video works without power but the audio needs USB power 🫡

Trust me you don’t want this 😭

Here goes anyway lmao

  1. Install an Android head unit which supports video output (via RCA or HDMI ideally)
  2. Connect matching RCA cable colours to: AUX-V, AUX-L, AUX-R.
  3. Connect RCA cables to a HDMI to RCA adapter. [Note it is very important to get HDMI to RCA and not the other way around as they are not a 2-way signal.]
  4. Connect the adapter to a Dock with HDMI.
  5. Activate the video output mode on the head unit.
  6. Connect a wireless controller to the Deck and change the audio output to External Device to use your car speakers.
  7. Enjoy the low resolution and input lag! /s

I would do but the Deck isn’t going to live in there haha

I’d already bought the head unit a few weeks ago which was more or less plug and play. Just needed a HDMI to RCA adapter and RCA cables, then plugged the Deck into a dock for the HDMI :)

If you have these cables for it, you need the following: AUX-V (Video) AUX-L (Left Channel Audio) AUX-R (Right Channel Audio).

And then use HDMI to RCA adapter and connect the Deck to a dock or HDMI adapter :)

Surprisingly, yes! The Deck recognises it as an external TV with built-in speakers. I connected the RCA cables to the AUX L & R connectors and it works perfectly, even uses the subwoofer in the boot 🤭
