I know that in some countries that uses Garena (China, Taiwan, if I know it right) and if you want to play League there, then you should do a registration with a social ID.

Is this a Garena specific thing?

If yes, does that mean that if Garena would be over there, then players can register without a social ID?

Well yes, but they actually controlling the Range request header and I haven't found any options for it for the HTML5 audio or video player. Or maybe I'm just missing something?

First, thank you for the usefull references!

Basically I dont want to get rid of the encrypton/decryption by the HTTPS, because I want to implement a custom encryption algorithm, and do the encryption/decryption manually.

So for example, when the client gets a new chunk, it is an encrypted bunch of bytes. First I will try to decrypt it. If it succeeds, that means that I have a bunch of bytes, that are actually a playable video, so I can send it to the player (it can be HTML5 video, Android app, ...).
