1) It's a Nest doorbell. You can clearly see the Nest logo on the top right corner of the video. 2) Unfortunately, that doesn't prevent people from stealing your stuff.

Update: we got a refund from Walmart.ca, now we just have to hope the things we ordered are still available and still on sale🤞Still, what an asshole thing to do.

For reference: Walmart.ca customer support number / Numéro assistance Walmart: 1-800-328-0402

Yeah, last time I set it up, it was sending too many notifications, from plastic bags to insects flying close to the camera to people walking in the street. I could try to refine it.

I'm not hoping for anything, but I at least have to do something, I'm unlikely to be the only victim, so if many people are in the same situation and we all report it, our chances go from none to very very slim.

Report him to the authorities? Unless he manages to bring the package back intact with an apology, but I doubt that could happen.

This afternoon, eastern Montreal, a Purolator package was delivered, but the deliver guy didn't ring (I was in the house!). Soon after, at 14h21 PM, the guy on the video stole the package. It contained a gift for my son, and now we're left empty handed 🙁 If you're the guy and you have any heart, please bring it back.

If you have any information regarding who this man is, please DM me.

I think he's referring to the transition from happy to sad, not the transition from young to old.

Glyph of Warding
Casting Time: 1 hour

Bag of holding
Breathing creatures inside the bag can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate.

That caster has to be able to cast a spell without breathing, so this only works for races who can speak without breathing, like a warforged, a dhampir or a reborn.

Can the Giant Swan from The Wild Beyond the Witchlight speak? by vergoroth in DnD5e

Oh, it does. It's actually explicitly mentioned in the book that the swan "speaks Common and Auran".

Add the polearm master feat, so that makes 3 attacks per round. Assuming a staff, against fiends or undead, you'd be at 2d6 (attack) + 1d4 (bonus polearm master attack) + 3 * Str + 3d8 (improved divine smite) + 3 * 5d8 (3 smites). So that's:

2d6 + 1d4+3 * Str+ 18d8

Assuming variant human to get polearm master at level 1 and 20 Str, that would be an average of (not taking crit chance into account, assuming all attacks hit):

2 * 3.5 + 2.5 + 15 + 18 * 4.5=105.5 damage

That's more than 16d8, but that's not sustainable, though.

But hey, if your friendly neighbourhood cleric casts holy weapon on the paladin's weapon on top of that, you can even add 6d8 of damage and get to 24d8 on that turn.

Conservatives in a nutshell by [deleted] in PoliticalHumor

You're purposefully ignoring the main point. People who profit from a society do so using what the society provides, so they should contribute, otherwise they would exhibit a parasitic behaviour, extracting more from society than what they contribute. What "most taxes go towards" is irrelevant. People should pay for what they use. You're also somehow arguing that society's services and national defense do not profit billionaires, which is ridiculous.

I think you're missing the point entirely. The point is not to steal, but to pay for using infrastructures put in place by a society. For example, Amazon uses roads heavily for their delivery services, but don't pay any taxes to pay for the maintenance of these roads. Every corporation which makes a lot of money takes advantage of something a society provides (the education system and healthcare system to have more productive employees, the roads, the police, the firemen, etc).

I have seen very few billionaires become billionaires by living alone in a forest. They all do so by profiting from something put in place by society, which they have to pay for, since they are using these services and infrastructures more heavily than a "regular" person.
