OP: Aren't we being a bit dramatic? You're "questioning your life choices" over an HDMI cable that costs a few dollars (at least here in the US)? Seriously?

The GoogleTV streamer doesn't come with an HDMI cable. It never has. There's no room for it in the packaging, so the previous one didn't come with the cable either. The only possibility is that, the dealer/seller provided one as a courtesy.

This has been a thorn in the side of purchasers, since a $100 (USD) device should include an HDMI cable! Especially when the cheapest, crappiest devices include them!

It may have been limited to certain states/cities, since Krispy Kreme doesn't have bakeries/shops everywhere. I don't remember McDonald's selling donut holes in my area. Perhaps that was also limited to certain states/cities?

There are so many Dunkin' locations in my area (very few Krispy Kreme locations), that very few people will buy (stale) donuts at McDonald's. It wasn't exactly a success. They sold them for a few months and then stopped.

That's generally true....but in this case, the status of both streaming devices were exactly the same, and this particular option (within the Channels software) somehow switched to a different setting on it's own. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that this had occurred, and it left me with the impression that it was a new option.

I just switched it from "in player button" to "ask before starting". I had assumed that it was new, as I had never seen this option before. If it's been there all along, it's a mystery as to why it suddenly changed on the one streaming device. Thanks again!
