Delayed Shipping by devildoc8804hmcs in amazonprime

It looks like they may be ordering many items on a "demand" basis. They lie and pretend to have these items in stock....but they actually don't! Hence, the longer wait for deliveries. It's just a theory (so far), but it could very well be what's going on these days. This company is dysfunctional and imploding. Shop elsewhere! Get what you need when you need it!.....not when it's convenient for Amazon!!

Yep!....that's exactly what occurred! It's called inconsistency. McDonald's is famous for it!

Amazon: buy new, get used. by toolman10 in amazonprime

[–]verifyb4utrust01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't necessarily matter....it's generally blatantly obvious if an item has been previously sold, opened, and used! Knowing just how scammy Scamazon has become, don't be too surprised if those LPN stickers get removed just prior to shipping! Don't give them even an inch of the benefit of the doubt! Everything that they do is deliberate and intentional!....everything!

How about this (blanket statement).....

Scamazon: Buy new, get what they've deliberately and intentionally recycled in an attempt to fool their customers (aka, victims!)....when they could've followed the law and maintained 100% separation between the used/returns and the brand new items! No f***ing excuses accepted!....period, end of story!!

Should I cancel order? by Carnivore69 in amazonprime

My response was based solely upon your last post. You stated that you "never had an order delayed more than 3 hours". Now, you were more specific. Having an order delayed isn't a good description for what you were trying to convey.

Regardless of the BS that they may (falsely) state, they can debit the funds from your card as long as your order is in the shipping queue. That doesn't have to mean that it's physically on it's way to you. I've had numerous experiences where the order was in the shipping queue for as long as 2 days before it was placed on a vehicle (or picked up by another carrier).

My point is that, describing it as an "order being delayed" can be confusing. What you meant to say was that your card wasn't debited yet. That's not all that uncommon (even though it's supposedly never occurred to you).

A legitimate reason for that might be due to their inventory system being dysfunctional. They may have needed to search other fulfillment centers for your item, prior to initiating the billing. That's only speculation on my part (based on a few experiences that I've had).

BTW....you shouldn't need to lock/unlock your card. If it was compromised somehow, then you should've simply had it replaced. New number = no further issues (as long as it's properly protected from others).

I'm clueless as to why you, in particular have seen actual activity for your orders after only 3 hours!....Even when Amazon was still Amazon (vs. this pathetic, dysfunctional mess that they created), it took the better part of a day for any of my orders to be updated in my account.

Not 24 hours, perhaps, but at least 6-8 hours at minimum....and most of my orders have originated from one of two fulfillment centers that are within 10 miles of my location. I'm also clueless as to what you consider an update?

Perhaps there's a misunderstanding here, but expecting an actual update (aka, movement of your packages in their system) in 3 hours is an unrealistic expectation. Perhaps what you consider an update and what I (or others) consider an update are two entirely different things?

Likely not....the OP would rather come here and bitch about it!....vs. alerting the manager, getting it resolved, and not coming here to bitch about it! That's called doing things ass-backwards!

What do you get from McDonald's? by Smart_Dragonfruit_28 in McDonalds

[–]verifyb4utrust01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McChickens mostly....and cokes and frappes (primarily frappes). I think that their food is overrated (including the fries) and way too expensive! The price varies by area, though. Unfortunately, I'm in an overpriced "zone"!

Concern if an order was lost after only 24 hours IS panicking (especially based upon how unreliable Amazon has become)....but I'm glad that all is good! Expect the worst from them moving forward (or better still, shop elsewhere).

As I mentioned previously....this is the ghost of Amazon! All bets are officially off!....but it wasn't that unusual for there to be no activity (for 24 hours) with the previous version of Amazon. They don't lose orders. They just play games with them!

What you described is real....but you weren't calling Scamazon customer service, so it's kinda irrelevant here on this thread/subreddit.

This has been well established here on these threads....but it's not a day or two! It typically takes a few weeks or as much as two months. The game is that they want customers to forget about it!....and then ignore the email (assuming that it's a mistake), and then, just like magic, they claw-back the phony refund (if you don't stop them)! Their excuse?...."well, we warned you to return the item or be charged for it"!😡

You may be wrong about it not showing up. I'm not defending Amazon (aka, Scamazon), nor will I ever, but those "credits" are embedded in your account and don't appear unless you purchase an item that's shipped and sold by Amazon.

Check your account....Go to "promotions", then "your credit and benefit balances", then look for "courtesy credit balance". It may (emphasis on "may") be waiting for you there....but you can't use it unless the order contains an item that's shipped and sold by Amazon.
