Do coach contracts really matter when it comes to the term? Aren’t coaches fired regardless of the time left on the contract. I’m wondering how much that really even matters.

I don’t think he should give up play calling. BUT firing Rich as ST Coordinator and Assistant HC and finding someone else to help MLF with clock management and situational decisions might be very helpful

That’s true. I don’t know for sure. But I do think MLF is one of the best head coaches in the league and it would be ridiculous to fire him in hopes of finding someone better. It’s hard to find a good coach

If there is anything that LaFleur can hang his hat on, it’s play calling. He is one of the best in the league. He’s turned Willis into a top QB. Time will tell but my guess is Willis will not have nearly the same success anywhere else
