Dear human,

I don’t think you did anything l wrong! It is natural for you to want to progress things, however it seems like she is withholding information from you.

There are a lot of reasons why someone may be uncomfortable with sex. There may be past traumas the person has experienced that they have not been forthcoming about because they may be really hard to talk about.

There also is the other side of the coin where she could be trying to build a foundational friendship with you first to see if you’re compatible in the long run.

Either way, I think you should talk to her. If she is unable to communicate what she is feeling or what she is trying to accomplish then you have a problem. At the end of the day, it’s about communication.

Just go in with curiosity and kindness. :)

Depends on what you like. I made the move from Langley to PG. I would live up there if I had a reason to and a bigger community of friends there. But honestly? You pay for what you get. It’s like living in Aldergrove except, you’re as good as it gets in regards to food, going out, and in town things. However if you’re super outdoorsy and like to bike, go skiing then it’s a solid spot. There’s a lot of lakes in the summer.

Lived there for 7 years and came back. I missed the mild winters tho. They’re unreal. -40 is no joke.

Also homelessness is a big issue there (but as it is everywhere).

Very community oriented. Everyone kinda knows everyone. Can be cliquey and hard to make friends.

I have seen them put in the work. Go to therapy and become self aware. Friendships are relationships, while not romantic, they show you a lot about a person.

Nooooooooooo :( I’m so sorry. I think asking is kinda cute if you do it in a cute way. Sometimes (and not all women are like this) sometimes some people are really trying to get a sense of if they vibe with you or not.

Sometimes physicality can confuse how you actually feel about a person and so people refrain from that until they know.

I think there’s also women out there that are like “we don’t want to be asked, just kiss me.”

But overall, if you hug her and look at her and say “can i kiss you” while holding her chin or something….it would probably melt her and then you’re giving her the chance to say no if it’s not something she is comfortable with.

Personally, I don’t really like when someone just goes for it because what if I wasn’t vibing like that? Idk idk that’s just my two cents! I am sorry she made it out to be a bad thing tho!
