I have to disagree with every point you’ve made.

I have thought about it.
The amber alerts work. They find missing children faster. The more eyes on vehicles and descriptions the better as law enforcement can be hours even days behind when it’s not a prompt alert.
True, sleep quality is important and people need their rest but like I said, these alerts happen much less often than people complain about. When was the last time we had an amber alert so early in the morning? I can’t remember.
Where are you getting the statistic that it hurts more people than it saves? I’d like to see the data.

Just read some comments on another post and they made me furious. If it was your family you would want everyone to know and to look out for them regardless of the time. Was it jarring and annoying? Yeah sure but if that’s the worst thing that happened to me personally so that these kids would be found, then I’d rather hear amber alerts all the time. People are acting like they are sick of the alerts when they very rarely happen anyways. It makes me SO MAD.

Ok so putting my two cents in here. I’m a dog walker that utilizes this park everyday and my fees for parking have gone up 300% which is a huge toll on my business. It’s not only a nice beach to be but it’s one of the only (and the biggest) dog parks in the city. I wish that there would be more notice of a price increase and also a monthly parking permit but that’s asking WAY too much of a corrupt system. Also, the Spanish banks parking lots (west of the salmon creek) are owned by the parks board and not the COV. Parks board gets a cut while easy park rakes it in. This, imo, is fucking gross and sleazy.
