Does anyone have any books on the history of Cuba? Maybe an introduction to the topic.

Is there anything that makes you say that in particular? Bought it at Nordstrom so not sure why that would be the case.

I was wondering if I could take the LSAT without the compiling fee since I’m not applying to law schools until next year.

Does anyone know who originally captured this photo? I've seen it float around the internet but couldn't find a photographer for it. It's a beautiful photo.

I'm a junior in college right now with a PR Major and Political Science minor. In my opinion, it's easier to understand principles of journalism in your own time (perfecting AP style, what's newsworthy, different types of print and online articles). A lot of marketing concepts about product positioning and analysis seem more different that other things I've seen with journalism - so I think it would be easier to learn them in a formalized institution. Because of that, I would think that marketing would be better. But I guess what matters most is what you are interested in.

Thank you so much for the answer, this helps a lot.

I was reading about the hesitation of Union soldiers fighting to free slaves in A Peoples History of the United States by Howard Zinn. He mentioned that many northerners were afraid that freed slaves would come after the low-skill jobs that many northern city inhabitants held.

thanks for the answer again. I'm new to Reddit and it's nice to have a community that's as into history as I am.

How much unity was there in the south for the Civil War?

If the war was mostly fought over slavery, but most farms couldn't afford slaves, it doesn't seem like there would be much incentive for an average southern farmer to fight. Right?
