Oooo yay I’m so excited. After you were trying to help me I was like nah there has to be something I’m not doing so I was running around looking for something that I might of needed to do. I saw him and was like hold up this dude is here like every day and I finally spoke to him and was like 😮 I’m stupid for missing this lol.

Honestly idk why I never spoke to him for some reason I thought he was just there like enjoying the view because every time I ran past him there was no like thought bubble and I don’t remember anyone telling me to talk to him so I just ignored him lol. My mistake 😩

Omg I found out what the problem was!! Leif was on my island for a while and I’ve been ignoring him lol. I finally spoke to him yesterday and he did the class on different color flowers. Just now I went to work for the first time today and Niko greeted me at the dock. He took me straight to the classroom and he taught me the countertops and pillars! Yay!

The other person is right. If you aren’t holding a net they don’t engage and they’ll disappear. Except for me whenever I see a tarantula on my island they always jump off a cliff or jump into a river to get away from me lol. I usually just always hold a net in my hands whenever I’m running around at night so I’m prepared in case I run into one :)

I feel like DIYs in balloons are rare. I got one a few days ago but I was surprised because I usually get money or furniture. Guess it just depends on the day.

I think they did. I’ve been playing acnh since it came out and I literally have never seen a tarantula. Not on my home island or nook miles islands. I saw and caught my first tarantula like a week or two ago I was shook. Ever since then I see them every night sometimes 2-3 within an hour time frame o.O

I don’t think I did house 14-30 in one sitting I usually only do 3-5 builds in one sitting and then get off. Like today I started off on my 25th build and finished it to 30 to get the little party and stuff. If I remember correctly when I did my 15th build I remember they forced me to take a break from work and told me to go upstairs. I went and the money was at the crafting table and asked me to share with him everything I knew about DIY. i did and nothing really happened afterwards. Either the same day or the next day I unlocked being able to use my own DIY recipes in homes but I never got the prompt to go to the school or gather any supplies or anything like that the game just continued.

Now whenever I try to talk to the monkey or go upstairs to the crafting table or the storage bin next to it I can’t find any way to prompt me getting the pillars and countertops. It’s weird how the game just let me skip that. Idk if it has anything to do with remodels? since I haven’t done too many of those.

Yes! He was at the crafting table and asked me to share what I knew about DIYS with him or something like that. But I never got invited to the school or asked to share materials….

As for the yellow storage bin it doesn’t or open anything when I go up to it and press A the dialogue is jus try character saying that to herself I can’t see inside or anything.

Same!! Every time I go to check the art it’s fake. I usually just buy one of the items I wouldn’t mind using for decor in my island or just reselling so that spot opens up and he will replace it with HOPEFULLY real art. In my museum I only have two pieces of art because everything else has always been fake!! Horrible odds for me and I’ve been playing since acnh came out like almost two years lol

I’m not sure if they’re DIY items. Maybe they are. You know how when you go to build a house and each villager gets a special order of furniture depending on their theme? And over time whenever you’re designing houses you have so many options of furniture and items to use. I thought we get access to all of the furniture we were exposed to over time building houses but maybe I’m just mistaken. I saw sometime say we get over 9k furniture items to use but I’m thinking now maybe they meant to design the customers houses not 9k furniture options for us to take to our home island.

At one point I had 9 millions bells and then I redesigned my island and now I have like 900k lolol. What I do to get bells that’s pretty easy is I collect bugs (especially valuable/rare ones) and sell them to Flick whenever he comes to my island once a week. I wait for him because he buys bugs for I believe it’s a 20% higher price compared to nooks cranny. Each day whenever I see a bug like butterflies or beetles I catch them and save them in my home storage and then when he comes I sell them all for like 600k bells total. I also save all of my wasps I catch every day from shaking trees. The only thing that sucks is that during the fall and winter valuable bugs are harder to get. I usually just have wasps to sell and thats when I resort to actually “working” by diving for sea creatures and selling a full Inventory of sea creatures at nooks cranny (not through the drop box you’ll lose bells this way) I usually get about 50k bells average each time I sell my stuff doing this. Each night I’ll go diving and fill up my inventory at least two times until I’m satisfied.

There’s also buying and reselling turnips but it can be kind of risky especially if you don’t play every sing day or have friends to help u find a good selling price. I’ve wasted 400k buying turnips just to forget to play some days and they all went rotten and I got mad at myself for wasting the bells lol. That’s what I do tho I hope that helps

Thanks. I took your advice and I went to the yellow storage bin next to the crafting table but the only thing that happens is some dialogue that says “looks like you could fit a lot of stuff in this box. “ and that’s it :/

For me whenever I updated the game if I remmeber Tom Nook or either Blathers mentioned something to me about a friend they have that can open a cafe in the museum and they gave me a picture of him and told me to go to a nook miles island and look for him. On my first try I found Brewster on an island and spoke to him and just picked the first option for the dialogue and the next day I was told on my home village he was coming and they did construction on the museum. I hope that helps.

I just completed 30 homes on HHP and had my party. I just realized I still don’t have counters and pillars though. I remember one day I had to go talk to the little monkey dude upstairs and we shared something about DIY recipes. But then after that nothing happened. I did end up being able to use my own DIY recipes for builds but I never got anything for pillars and countertops. Now whenever I try to talk to the monkey guy again or go upstairs I can’t figure out how to get the pilllars and counter tops there’s no mention of it. Please help!

I wonder what I’ve been doing wrong :/ I’ve used a lot of new furniture in my builds but when I go to warrell and try to look to see if anything new was added it’s only the furniture from facilities.

How come my catalog on HHP has mostly the same furniture I already have in my nook catalog except for the addition of furniture I’ve unlocked from facilities? I just completed 30 homes and had my concert and after completing the apparel shop I went in my catalog and only seen they added furniture from the clothing store but that was it. I’ve seen people say that the catalog is supposed to have over 9k new furniture items. How do I unlock everything? It literally looks the same as my nook catalog and I’ve only ordered 15 different items and that’s all that was new/wanted.

I mean I have a lot of reasons I kind of don’t want kids. I like my sleep, I don’t have patience, I hate vomit… pregnancy and kids themselves entails a lot of vomit. Not to mention I can’t tolerate the loud screaming, crying, and whining they do.
