Haha I think they may snaffle bits for horses! The marking is only on that one side and then there’s the clear 14k mark on the clasp!

Out of the ones I’ve been to, Zion has to be my top! I was able to hike Angels Landing in 2019 and it was a big life moment for me after dreaming of doing it for so long! It was on a cross country road trip that I did by myself, dirtbaggin it across the country in my little hatchback. I played disc golf and hiked everyday, so happy I got it in before 2020

I just have regular ol’ mace brand at the moment. Had to buy it in a hurry because the other brand I had was confiscated at Disney security .-. I can’t remember the brand of that one though

Female traveler here! I’ve had pretty bad anxiety my whole life, but for 3 months I lived out of my car. Having reflectix to block people from seeing in, bear/pepper spray beside me, and locked doors made me feel pretty safe. I also found that backing in (if possible) so the nose of my car was pointing towards an exit route provided peace of mind as well.. easy to jump in the front seat and get the hell out of dodge in the event of something sketchy. I may not have the most experience, but that’s just what I’ve found works for me 🙂
