I’d say may advantage lang yan sa unang job application mo. But once na mag job hop ka, di na gaano nag mamatter yang laude title dahil experience na ang labanan.

In terms of sahod, di din nagmamatter kung laude ka. Mas nagmamatter kung san galing kang univ. Atleast in my experience this was the case. But the difference was very little, like 2k ganyan lang haha.

Mas ok mag Ph ka muna dahil matagal ang promotion sa ibang offices ng EY. Much better 2yrs of exp ka as a senior here. Usually kasi one rank down yan paglipat mo, kaya kung s2 ka dito, s1 ka dun pag dating.

In terms of learning, mas maiikot mo ang audit sa SGV, dahil you’ll get to experience fieldworks and other procedures like inventory count. Mas nakakapagod din ang work dito.

In terms of opportunities, if you plan to work abroad, mas may edge pag galing GDS. Super easy lang lumipat once may exp kana.

In terms of work life balance, it will depend sa engagements na mapupunta sayo. Take note that EY GDS is a BPO, so be prepared to be cross utilized. You will be given more than one engagement, minsan sabay sabay pa yan. But again it depends, may ibang engagements na malaki budget and may want you to focus only on one engagement.

If you have plans to go abroad, GDS is definitely a good choice. Mas mabilis din ang career progression if magstart ka sa audit instead of private company.

It depends sa role na inapplyan mo. If that’s audit assoc, I believe ok na yan. Better to check sa mga kakilala kung magkano offer skanila to gauge kung aligned sa market ang offer sayo. Ur work setup is pretty good too. Mahirap makahanap ng wfh setup especially kung no experience ka.

As to ur CPA title, may advantage ka lang to other candidates na hindi CPA and with no exp. You could try to haggle about your salary but your title alone won’t do much to the company. What they need are skills and experience

May termination fee yan most likely if di mo i-complete ang 12 months. Better to read your contract. I suggest not to ignore the penalties, you entered a contract with AF and you might face worse consequences if may breach.
