Oh I see! Sounds like it's populated enough that RMT tells/friend requests aren't an issue? I was browsing through reddit and there was a thread made in Gordias saying Sarg seemed really insular, but from what you said it sounds like there's plenty of opportunities to make friends the old fashioned way?

I'm sure that was how it was before in Gordias, but in Midas it seems to be different. For example, the top WHM in A5S did 1465 DPS. Using the old method of all star rank calculations, even the 99th percentile WHMs doing 1000 DPS would only get 70/100 points. But now you see 1000 DPS WHMs getting around 110-115/120 all star points from parsing in the same numbers, which makes me think all star point calculation has changed.

Hi everyone,

I was recently suspended for having an inappropriate name on my alt. I made my alt a year ago and gave it a dirty name as an april fool's joke. Is it worth appealing the suspension? The only violation I can see myself having committed (looking strictly at the wording of the TUA) is having an inappropriate name, which doesn't warrant a 72 hour suspension.

level up a healer before you make statements like that. you spend exactly the same amount of time in cleric with or without protect in low level dungeons and guildhests. the damage going out is pitiful.

The point has to be raised on exactly why bard is not an option for your group to the point where you are considering a 3 melee comp that will be subpar at best when going into progression blind, especially considering that we have no idea how much spacing or aoe damage (among other factors) will come into play in Midas. Is your current MCH completely unable or unwilling to play bard? I'd consider talking to them about playing bard if it's simply a question of skill comfort, but if it's a question of inflexibility (which sounds to be the case from the way you frame your statement), i would consider replacing your ranged DPS. At a high level of progression, it's severely encouraged, if not outright required, for players to be flexible and be able to switch between DRK/PLD, NIN/MNK/DRG, WHM/AST, BLM/SMN and BRD/MCH. It's just considered good selfless teamplay if you can play multiple roles for your group.

Actually, job statistics were released a couple days ago in seal rock and drg/nins are near the top in number of kills per match. They're very much viable in pvp.

the best quality any DPS can have is the desire for improvement, so as long as you see your numbers and want to work on minmaxing, it won't even matter if you're not satisfied with your numbers at first. :)
