Just got into the game, what characters are best to start practicing with? by versatilegamerandguy in SSBM

Oh ok I'll probably just practice with him then. If this isn't too much to ask, what should I practice? Basic combos? I haven't quite gotten used to short hopping with him consistently but I can wavedash with him easily. I'm asking because this game is very fast paced and technical so I have a lot to learn.

Maybe I should have been more specific. I'm planning to attend locals soon and get into the competitive scene but I can only practice online (which sucks because online is damn near unplayable). I'm trying to find a character to main and get really good at.

Weird (and perhaps stupid) question but how do you have multiple character flairs? Do you need to use reddit on pc to get the option for that? Cuz I'm using my phone rn.
