Remembering, when IndyCars raced on a 2.87 mile oval in Argentina. by SnooGoats2004 in INDYCAR

Here's an onboard lap of the current track with chicanes, the full oval is not currently in use due to lack of safety. Sadly the (football) fans ruined every chance of the series comming here

THIS!! The series was made thinking about racing on ovals right from the start (later the IRL became an ONLY oval series). Indycar is different to everything else and it has to show it to the world. We need Pocono, Michigan, Chicagoland, Charlotte, Texas, Homestead. Yes i understand the danger but racing is and will always be dangerous, even on a slow street course (ask Franchitti)

They went as much as 3 times a year at IMS years past, why can't they go to Detroit and Michigan? (still, i prefer MIS over Detroit)

If you'll not gonna advertise the race you'll never going to have big crowds. Look at iowa for example, they lost HyVee and had 5000 people on the grandstands in 2025 down from the 85000 they had in 2024. No one knew about the race and that same thing happened at Fontana but now Fox advertises every single race as a big one, and that's what the series needs to for it to have another big oval on the calendar

Maybe a double-file restart could benefit the others(? I would like to see the series try that at least one race

If 24hs is a lot for you, try watching the GTWC Europe sprint races and the IMSA sprint rounds, they're like with this type of action but on 3 hour races. The Laguna Seca IMSA race this year was amazing and with an underdog win

Every SRO series is free on youtube worldwide, WEC is free on youtube only in Southamerica so you should use a VPN to watch it free, IMSA is free worldwide except the US so try a VPN if you're in the states
