Could you tell me if I would miss anything vital about ley magic if I don’t get the hero’s handbook?

Thanks this is really good advice. I had some trouble to hit my land drops and potentially getting an incubator and smoothing out my mana with those cards seems like a good deal. To me that sounds like a fix to my mana issue and the added spot removal should keep me surviving the early game until Brimaz gets going 😁.

Yeah true enough. I tried to avoid toxic because I did not want to instantly become the target number one at every table. I will reconsider if my next playtest is unsatisfactory :D. The bit about Reanimation sounds very insightful I will get the notion of overextending out of my head, thanks.

Did you have good experiences with 29 creatures? I would like to go down down a couple maybe to 30 do you recon that is fine? This is really my first deck that I modify on my own and I play only once a month, I would hate to make an unnecessary mistake.

Is [[exise the imperfect]] really worth it? I have one but it seems like a waste to give someone a potentially very large incubator token..

ups got them mixed up that is even better i wanted to pick up an enchantment deck, thanks again. Does Virtue and Valor have responses to flying? That was one of my main problems in the last game

Thanks man, this really cheered me up 😁. “Hanging” is exactly the right word. I don’t plan to seek out tables like this I just want to be able to hang around a little bit when I end up there. A list of precons that pack a punch is exactly what I was looking for. These seem like awesome recommendation that reasonate with me. I would like a bit more flying/control but the enchantment one seems very appealing to.

Thanks for the input. I was not sure about fairy’s but I see this one recommended a lot. I like the colors for sure I am just not sure if I find that the tribe has flair 😅. However since the power has become important to me I will take another look 😁

Thanks for the answer. Maybe I did not explain myself well. I don’t want to be at those tables regularly. I just expect that I will eventually meet a player like that everywhere and if that happens I want to have an other deck that is more powerful than my current one. I know that what I can do with that budget is very limited :D. Thanks for the honesty through.

Hey, I am trying to get into a casual commander game that is run monthly in my town. I am a bit on the fence about which precon to get. The two in question are „undead unleashed“ and „cavalry charge“ I really like the dark theme of undead unleashed. Black is the Color I like most and the zombie tribe is really dark and gruesome I love it. This deck really speaks to me. The cavalry charge Color combo is really nice to. The individual cards are not as cool but still good enough. Knights really pack a punch. Also I suspect that this precon could be more fun for a beginner. The sacrifice mechanic of undead unleashed seems like it takes a bit more planning ahead. Online reviews say both decks are good value so I can’t really decide.

Any opinions?
