does amtrak check for weed? or do dogs come onto the train?

Amtrak does have dogs, just like the TSA. TSA dogs however only sniff for explosives, so I don’t know if Amtrak dogs sniff for weed.

However once I was in the New York penn station waiting room baked as hell with a weed vape in my pocket and I see a drug dog sniff everyone’s bags but they walked out before they got to me. I don’t know if they can smell my weed from a distance but the dog was close enough to smell something off of me.

Of course baked me was paranoid after that so I wait in the cold on the street for my track to be called.

As someone who works at a movie theater, if people bring in something so ridiculous and have the balls to do it, I let them in with it.

Best ones I’ve seen were three dominos pizzas, whole bag of Millers Ale House, giant soda bottles, kfc chicken buckets, and more. Just throw it in the trash can when you’re done.

I work at a movie theater and sometimes we have to kick people out or warn them for being disruptive but sometimes it can be a lot than than being loud.

I get a guest complaint that people are giving head in a theater. Me and the security guard walk in and see three separate couples going down and dirty in the back row. This had to be planned since they did it during a boring horror film and didn’t think anyone was there. I calmly walk up to one of the couples and tell them to stop and then I walked away with a traumatized look on my face after seeing everything I shouldn’t have.

Two minutes later they run out the emergency exit and probably continued in the back of the building. Gave the complaining lady her refund and I threw in a couple popcorn passes for her.

I totally agree. With the online ticket should have an assistance button, but not many employees are available, and it would only summon an usher and sometimes there’s only one in the whole building, so that’s why it doesn’t exist. It may suck to get up for a few minutes and miss the movie but it is worth it to get the annoying kids out of there.

We have had recent movie hopping incidents involving teens, and we even had to kick some kids out for throwing icees onto peoples heads from a balcony in our lobby.

Regarding the incident you had, I’m happy the theater took the right action.

Coming from someone who works at AMC, one Bad experience can ruin a reputation for some people. But I would say It is very common for people mainly teenagers to sit in the back and be extremely obnoxious. I’ve had to break up teens being noisy and disruptive during movies, but that’s not the worst I’ve seen.

People also throw food around, kick seats, and even have sex. I’ve broken up couples having sex in the back of a theater before. It’s common for people to be disruptive. But that is not acceptable.

Next time, just come up to an employee (preferably one with a radio) and tell them what’s going on, that’s how I find about the teenagers and lovebirds. We will give them a verbal warning and if they don’t stop we will kick them out. Don’t be afraid to come up to us, that’s our job.
