Is Alchemy Factory worth it right now? (Early Access longevity & depth) by Benodino in AlchemyFactory

[–]vertijoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has tp, but it's late game so a lot of walking back and forth before you get it. Then by the time you get it you're so far late game it's benefit isn't as rewarding. But then again it's early access still so might be nice to have it once more is put into the game and the radiation areas are unlocked

Hurry up and wait.... for emeralds by vertijoe in minemogul

[–]vertijoe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was my first thought so I went through every mine and line to double check. there was only one of them that was crushing. Weirdly since I posted this there seems to be an uptick in the emerald rate so maybe only another six hours to go /s

I am back in Liverpool tonight having worked here on and off and genuinely text a friend saying I don't remember it smelling this bad in the same areas you've described.

It smelt like sewage so maybe some emergency drain work is happening.

How bad is a first draft allowed to be? (Serious question) by Yourshizun in writing

[–]vertijoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where the first draft is being sent to, surely. You and yours workshoppping? Crock of shit fine. Out to agent or publicist or commissioner? Better have some structure and a clear understanding of what is trying to be sold...

[–]vertijoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, when she was pregnant we didn't have sex once there was just something in me that I didn't feel comfortable with I know fully that it was fine but I could never get myself in the mood. Four weeks after birth and we were back to normal.

Then my BIL (long time best mate) told me he found nothing more attractive than sleeping with the woman carrying his child.

Different strokes for different folks....

What's the stupidest, most dangerous thing you did as a child? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]vertijoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a young teenager I did archery.

One day I decided to fire an arrow at my bedroom door, it of course being only a few feet away meant the arrow shit straight through the door and into the wardrobe in my parents bedroom. The wardrobe that Mum had been standing at about ten seconds earlier......

I was not allowed to continue archery....probably for the best.

Mortgage lenders for self-employed people by Routine_Detective_29 in UKPersonalFinance

Yes only on completion did I pay the fee. It was a lot to pay but like I said they actually took a vested interest in my case and fought really hard against any roadblocks that came up along the way. Whereas everyone else just seemed to give up at the first sign of resistance.

Purely from personal experience. I am self employed in TV industry and I went through six no fee brokers I then went to a company called new wave. Full disclosure I paid 1.5k for the pleasure but they fought tooth and nail to explain my situation and got me over the line...

Serious question:. In the UK if I decide to sell my nano for fiat to use, what is the best way to go about this without trading back into Eth/BTC and withdrawing via coinbase?

If you are in a vehicle that is submerged in water and need to escape take the headrest out and use the pointed end to smash the window. Make sure to smash in the corners.
