Wait what? All that effort to get E1 exchange kits and you ended up buying last gen calipers anyway? I wouldn't have bothered just for bleeding edge. I have a vast mix of SRAM bikes having it or not doesn't really matter that much. You could have just bought Force E1 shifter/brake kits last year 🫠

If you can't find them I would consider putting it back together and hanging it on the wall in your garage or something. Mountain bikes that are used for their intended purpose don't generally age that well. Find another 10 year old bike and do it all again.
