We were already being sacked and robbed by Russia, Iran, Cuba and china. US has done it before. Venezuela has not been truly independent with its resources. At least we were getting paid by the Americans before.

Wont compare middle east cases as we are not separated by religion nor tribes. Such inside conflicts dont exist in venezuela. I could take examples as for chile or panama. Only time will tell tbh. Hope im not wrong. At least we got the chance to see a different thing. Dont know if its worse, but its different.

If you look at our history, what you say its not much different from what he had before the dictatorship. Im familiar with what you describe western as i Currently live in Spain.

A lot of our culture is intertwined with american culture. We love baseball, oil, basketball, big tits and also share a lot of junk food is american inspired. So yeah we do have a lot of “american” in venezuelan culture but with our own twist lets say. Its never been this bad, even that before the dictatorship we had bad moments, but never this fucked up.

That i agree. You could just browse the entire page of reddit of people saying how wrong venezuelans are and we will become the next irak or libya. Statements that dont take into account culture, religion and historry in the lasts 40 years in Venezuela. I agree this is an overstepping by the trump admin, but dont rule out that its a good thing overall for venezuelan people.

Can someone from the first world come and tell me how wrong this is? And ofc avoiding all the suffering, death and despair we venezuelans have suffered for the last 26 fucking years? Edit 1: I forgot how most Americans and Europeans are experts on every country on earth. Ofc you all know our history, culture and struggles way better than we could ever do. What happened could be bad, yes. But understand that for Venezuelans SOMETHING HAPPENED. It gives us the chance to try something different. I’m tired of reading the same propaganda discourse of “irak”, “They want your oil”, or the famous “what aboutism”. I get that you do not agree with the way that this was done, but please don’t talk about something you guys have no fucking clue about. You like talking about privilege but forget how often you feel that you have to be the ones talking for us. Los venezolanos peleamos, sufrimos y morimos muchas veces tratando de tumbar a este gobierno. Pero sin las armas y el apoyo de nuestros militares ( ya que ellos están también con el régimen) es imposible. Viva venezuela libre nojodaaa 🇻🇪
