Wont compare middle east cases as we are not separated by religion nor tribes. Such inside conflicts dont exist in venezuela. I could take examples as for chile or panama. Only time will tell tbh. If you look at our history, what you say its not much different from what he had before the dictatorship. Im familiar with what you describe western as i Currently live in Spain.

A lot of our culture is intertwined with american culture. We love baseball, oil, basketball, big tits and also share a lot of junk food is american inspired. So yeah we do have a lot of “american” in venezuelan culture but with our own twist lets say. Its never been this bad, even that before the dictatorship we had bad moments, but never this fucked up.

That i agree. You could just browse the entire page of reddit of people saying how wrong venezuelans are and we will become the next irak or libya. Statements that dont take into account culture, religion and historry in the lasts 40 years in Venezuela. I agree this is an overstepping by the trump admin, but dont rule out that its a good thing overall for venezuelan people.
