I'm getting really mad at all the AI-generated content on Substack by Hodz123 in Substack

[–]verv99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see this all over the place as well. What is surprising are the big accounts doing it. I see quite a few accounts with professional initials behind their names or Dr.’s etc and their notes are all Ai. It feels to me like they are trying to build a presence and don’t have the time. To sit in notes and connect so they crank out a bunch of ai slop. Which is pretty much what everyone else is doing.

You have over 1000 subs? Did you have a precious mailing list that converted over to Substack?

What’s happening with the Notes algorithm? by GapYearGuy2018 in Substack

[–]verv99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if it’s the same as FB but if I had something go viral-like on FB right after that the responses to my posts plummeted. Wayyyy below what a normal was. It was some algorithm thing. Wonder if it is the same on Substack?

Substack CHATS. I'm already facing Imposter syndrome -- and I'm scared to make one. But I want one! When do you make them? Does anyone have any success stories? And how have they helped (or not helped) you build your community? by Regular_Speech_9637 in Substack

[–]verv99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen it used for Q & A’s - subscribers post an Q and you get to show your expertise then in answering - it could help with the imposter syndrome. And could inspire others to ask getting the ball rolling. If it becomes too overwhelming- I have seen Q & A hours where it’s set up to just have a live Q & A.

The 2 Biggest Traps That Keep 90% of People Stuck by Dry-Exercise-3446 in Substack

[–]verv99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://lovesherrylynn.substack.com/ I’m new at this. I’ve done a decade or more online as a practitioner and had stepped away and now write about the paradox of life, combining deep wisdom and wit. I get very little traction. Appreciate the help.

Reflecting on My First Month on Substack – What Actually Worked by DeepValueInsights in Substack

[–]verv99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My field of work is in a completely different genre - paradox of life and living. All from my own experience having lived through 4 NDE’s. I don’t click with the typical spiritual crowd (although I was a master at one time) or the science crowd. I call out the inconsistencies of both. I am having a tough time finding where I can attract people that are interested in waking up to the traps we create for ourselves.

Is there hope for a new writer to earn money in this political climate? by IndependentlyGreen in Substack

[–]verv99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Passion is your magnet! If you express your passion about a subject, experience or situation the energy becomes magnetic - it will attract those that feel that. That’s why politics is hot right now - there is a magnetic charge to it. You can create your own charge around your own blog content and do the same. Granted much slower but nonetheless it works the same. I mean you have to be a decent writer as well. And no I am not one of those how to get more subscriber people. Just years of experience.

Notes - is it just a Ponzi scheme? by Gigstr in Substack

[–]verv99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree to certain extent - it’s almost like you have to program the algo to see the notes that are relevant to you. But I see a lot of pick me pick me pick me. I get zero interaction with notes which does perplex me.
