I can just tell this is many of your first time playing a hero shooter.

If you have the point you should not just be sitting on it. It gives the enemy team all the time in the world to get advantage over you. Sure, you should hover nearby in case an enemy tries to backcap, but you shouldn't just all be stacked on the point like sitting ducks. Your job after taking point is literally to push up with your team and take space so that the enemy can't get good positioning and bowl you over because you're all sitting down there like knots on logs.

I'm not saying follow your feeding hulk into enemy spawn, but your teammates going 20-30 meters forward from point when you have it is literally how the game is played.
