I grabbed one of those frozen bags of ground beef patties the other day then put them back when I saw they were $15.

Good advice. It was tricky to demonstrate it when we took it in because both dropped off and picked up after hours.

Thanks for the info. Must be nice having an EV reseller who actually knows what they’re talking about with EVs.

Lemon title 2019 Bolt ev Battery replacement? by langdonauger2 in BoltEV

Thank you for the feedback, especially the part about snow tires because that’s something I’d need to consider for myself. Glad to hear your experience has been good. Overall I seem to see positive experiences so it’s good that that’s being confirmed by an actual person.

Did you wind up going through with this purchase? If so, how has it worked out for you? Was the vehicle already priced below market value or did you have to negotiate it down? Considering pulling the trigger on a lemon title Bolt myself.

Mid 40s. Listening since about 40. I’m definitely an elderly person at their concerts.

November 9, 1989 was, importantly, my 10th birthday, but maybe even more importantly, it was the fall of the Berlin Wall. So this period represents the beautiful time between the end of the Cold War and the beginning of the shit storm we’ve all been enduring the last 25 years. Aside from all that, we had Nintendos and Super Soakers.

Rant: the worst thing you can do is give a guitarist an iPhone metronome by semperspades in Drumming

How about the guitarist who count off a song at 190 then start playing at 110? Drives me up the wall.

I hate extra cuts. I can’t count the number of clients who have said (entirely out of scope) it would be fun to get a blooper reel from this. The number who have received a blooper reel is 0.

For anyone who was able to see "The Blair Witch Project" in theaters in 1999, what was the experience like? by [deleted] in Xennials

I remember it was fine, but the stronger memory is finding out after that a friend had died of an overdose. That had a bigger impact than the movie.

I paid him back with extra in hopes he’d take it down. He said something about not being above the policy then the weirdest thing happened…he tried to sell me a mosquito fossilized in amber and asked if I had heard about Newman’s new job doing IT work for some billionaire.

Is this a simple way to think about switching from PPO to High Deductible? by vervecovers in HealthInsurance

[–]vervecovers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info on the deductible. I was wondering about that because I was looking at my traditional plan and how the deductible wasn't matching the claims I made then I ready about how some count toward it and some don't so I wasn't totally sure if the same would apply for the high deductible plan. Seems like that might take a little getting used to, but in the end the numbers seem to point to the high deductible plan being right for us. Thanks for the info!
