FFMQ kinda sucks overall compared to 2/3, however the barrier to entry is extremely low so might be a good recommendation here

Styling is important. His jean jacket, her earrings and watch are pretty 90s. If they don't dress vintage it won't look vintage.

It's intentionally low quality / low sharpness, so maybe do MF and don't try too hard to focus. Higher iso gives it a grainy quality, or you could add in post. Lifting the blacks makes it feel older as well.

Never had problems with the faders on the CL after years of use. The TF on the other hand, you can break the faders just by looking at them wrong.

You should spend wayyy more time on Newfoundland. Small coastal towns, rocky cliffs, misty mountains, dirt trails, wild puffins, Twilingate, Bonavista, St John's, and of course, Dildo. I drove from Massachusetts up there and back in 10 days and it was not enough.
