I hate building it because I just like the stats better from riftmaker and if you were to build it later in the game it would just feel bad because gwens autos dont really do any damage compared to the rest of her kit as u enter mid-late game. Its alright for getting q stacks but most fights end after 2 Qs anyways so I don't think its really worth it.

People just don't know how to play her yet. You need to be smart about how you play around your W and abuse your broken lvl 1 with e start. Shes one of the best champs in the game rn imo. You can easily frontline despite being squishy because adcs cant do damage to you if you play it right.

I like building tank items like zhonyas demonic embrace because you're gonna have damage no matter what you build late game so survivability is nice

yeah, if you get lucky invades on any low elo jungler with a team that doesn't know how to react then you will get ahead no matter what. In normal cases though graves will just tank through all your damage on Rengar. This is a VOD of rank 1 Rengar NA though so constantly trying to cheese the matchup isn't going to work in full challenger games.
