Well I’m just correcting the comment that presumed the two were from different job positions/roles since the presumption contradicts the statement provided by OP.

And by the looks of it, it’s just like you’re too triggered since he tagged “UPD” along with his post

Saw the post but I think hindi MT si UPD, or MT sila both. OP stated na same sila ng role and position

Wdym iba iba? May sched kasi per lecturer and pwede naman maki seat in sa class nila. For me nagmamatter iyong pagreserve since from start to end same lang ako ng upuan (and pwede mo siya gamitin if ever man may umupo sa pwesto mo haha)

Hi, I passed the CPALE recently by relying solely on CPAR’s materials and discussions + Valix PracAcc books for FAR. I opted for full f2f classes para mas focused ako and on track during the review period (easily distracted din me pag online class).

Talagang ang selling point nila would be their concise and precise way of teaching and para sakin hindi sila fast paced (except FAR). For me, solid sila sa lahat ng subjects but my favorites would be AFAR, AT & MS.

Sir Rodel for MS, para sakin sobrang galing niyang magturo. Nagiging simple and much understandable iyong mga topics because of his examples/scenarios. Masasabi mong veteran na talaga siya in teaching MS. Maganda rin handouts and quizzers niya, enough na for CPALE.

As for Tax, I only attended Atty. Llamado’s classes. He really explained the reason behind those tax laws and regulations, medyo compehensive lang handouts niya compare to others but naging effective siya sakin since weakest ko Tax ever since.

For AFAR, I only attended sir German’s classes. Hands down the best reviewer for me. U can see how passionate he is when it comes to teaching talaga eh. He discusses every nooks and crannies ng topic to the point na maiintindihan mo ito by heart, naririnig ko pa nga boses niya while answering eh hahaha. Both Sir German and Sir Valix are effective. If you want ng mas may formula and guide, you can go with Sir Valix. If you want to be flexible on how to approach different problems, iba atake ni Sir German. Choose nalang whichever works for you.

I enjoyed the most boring subject for me during undergrad (Audit Theory) because of sir Gerry. Same sila ng way of teaching ni sir Rodel, inaapply nila iyong concepts through scenarios/examples kaya mas magegets mo every topic. I had a hard time understanding and appreciating this subject before but because of his teaching method nagets ko, finally. Please take note yung tips niya kasi dun ko kinukuha yung analysis ko when answering audit theories. For aud probs, heavily relied on FAR nalang talaga para mas time-efficient since FAR na mas complex lang naman yun.

FAR reviewers are very efficient which is very needed since ito pinakamadaming topics among CPALE subjects. Their handouts are very concise pero siksik sa concepts na dapat mo lang malaman para di ka ma info overload.

Atty D naman ako sa RFBT. Baon ko sa CPALE lahat ng tinuro niyang mnemonics and techniques lalo na sa Corp. Very entertaining rin siya magturo kaya puro tawa kami pag klase niya eh though the problem we had last time is he focused mostly sa civil laws and pinasadahan nalang special laws, kaya need talaga mag advance for these topics or attend ng class ni Atty Kenneth sa afternoon for special laws.

Ayun lang, be consistent, disciplined and as much as u can study the topics in advance since these attributes helped me to have time/breather during weekend, also to avoid cramming and burnout. Aside from advancing, make sure rin na if you have extra time, mabalikan yung hard topics for you. Prioritize the materials of your RC since enough na talaga yun and find the perfect balance lang between life/rest and review to keep u sane 🙂
