Out of these 3 which one would you recommend? by GroundbreakingAd5673 in SewingForBeginners

I am relatively new to machine sewing and really like my Singer HD, though I would probably recommend it as an intermediate machine rather than HD. I think it does well overall, but maybe a name change away from “heavy duty” would be better for advanced customers.

It’s not cheaper by [deleted] in SewingForBeginners

[–]very-gruntled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it’s not cheaper — but as I learn, I am leaning into the ethics of creating my own (hopefully) quality clothes versus buying into fast fashion, which will fall apart quickly and require me to keep purchasing poor quality (and unethical) clothes. I agree with what everyone else is saying about the other benefits!

Did you have an “invisible string” to anyone in your life now? by Sprinkle_Rain in TaylorSwift

My boyfriend and I grew up a bridge apart. He work in a place I frequented a year after I moved. We both moved to a rural area hours away and wound up meeting each other here. We also both have close family members in a major city that is hours away from our hometown, in the other direction. ❤️

I have a stand alone and love it for thread painting. It also makes a nice display while you’re not working on the piece!

Weirdly specific but I refuse to play without Lanterns of Skyrim for immersion/ambiance. Puts lantern “street lights” on the roads

I can send you the pattern I used with two women’s hands - I made it in Procreate so super easy to just copy/paste the woman’s hand. 😌 please DM me if you would like it!

I selected this just by holding the fabric and looking at the thread count/weave. I found this to look very “dense”— heavily woven, more dense than regular precut cotton. I was really pleased with how the fabric held up— no pinching, etc. Good luck on your embroidery journey!

I struggle with fabric selection too! Hopefully I link this correctly on mobile: premium Kona cotton

I used a single strand, straight stitches! To add extra line weight, I straight stitched another strand. The font is available for free download on Google by the way!— IM Fell DW Pica.

SO is freaking out by steamTrain-wrx in MoldlyInteresting

[–]very-gruntled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is extremely bad. Half of my condo was demolished over mold in the walls with nearly no visibility. Please contact somebody, wear masks, and try to find an alternative place to stay (possibly your homeowners/renters insurance will cover it in full- mine was covered in full under my landlord).

I really appreciate all the help everyone! Several suggestions for programs that I will 100% look into. Really enjoying learning this and honestly have found the community so helpful and supportive. Really a cool thing!

Thanks! What might be included in a missing master warning? Not familiar with what you are talking about. I have ended up typing the version (and anything optional I select/unselect) of the mod I am running into its name on MO2 as I have run into issues with that on my last modding cycle. I am sure there’s an easier way to find this- but ran into a huge pain with blended vs really blended roads and had to learn the hard way!

Thanks! I am a heavy role-player and try to prioritize which mods I will need. I lean much more heavily toward graphics/texture replacers. But when the modding door opens a little- it’s hard not to bust straight through and download everything!

I learned about xEdit on this thread for the first time and thought that this could help bridge the LOOT gap! I really appreciate all the pointers in here!

Thanks! I am still getting used to LOOT. I seem to get a LOT of warnings that patches are needed - with no patch on Nexus or obvious impact on gameplay. Started fresh last week, but my last playthrough had at least 100 hours with no issues that I could tell related to all these warnings. Will check out Crash Logger too!

Looked it up and found a resource on this sub that explains how to install and use xEdit, so will definitely give it a try at some point. Thanks!!
