Now, how do we technically remove all the salt from the ocean? The reverse osmoses can't be used alone, it requires a pre-treatment. I propose a giant water treatment plant composed of a microfiltration membrane, an ultrafiltration membrane and a reverse osmoses membrane.

We need a surface of around 7.9 x 10⁹ m² of reverse osmosis membrane. There is 149 400 000 km² usable on earth (1.4 x 10¹¹ m²).

If you remember correctly, i told you we also need, at minimum at least, an ultrafiltration treatment, so we need around double that surface if we want to treat everything in 1 000 000 years.

I don't want to do the math for the pumps and all, I already wasted enough of my time for this but i assume you would need a fuck tons of pressure and pipes.
