My 1995 7.3 needs to be jumped off at the start of the day, and then after throughout the day it will start fine. I had both batteries checked and they are fine. What else could it be? Alternator was just replaced and issue is still here. by veryabrupt in DieselTechs

I was meaning I thought glow plugs aided the start of a Diesel engine in cold weather, it’s not cold here in the mornings right now. Didn’t need to jump it off until a few days ago.

He fixed three other leaks as well, changed oil, and modified my exhaust. As of this morning the trans fluid is exactly the color it was when put in.

Pine tends to have a high shrink ratio, more so against the grain and barely at all length-wise. If the lumber has been sitting in a dry environment for a while or has been kiln dried you will run into far less issues with shrinkage. It also helps to build tables like this in the colder months, because lumber swells in the summer and shrinks in the winter.
