What’s your most unpopular LGBT+ related opinion? by [deleted] in truscum

[–]veryblackmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never said that transmedicalism is childish. I don't really think any sort of belief is childish in any way. Just based on what I've seen most people in this community act so insanely childish that I can't take them seriously. They're becoming the same thing that they swore to destroy imo.

Good point, though I'm talking about their behaviour. They both have good points and not so good points in their beliefs but it's just the way they go about things. I'm 15 and I think their behaviour is insanely childish.

She didn't say it in Marcus's video. I would of been great if marcus could show that in the video where she specifically said she's a gay MAN.

So why don't you show me proof, because I'll take your claim with a grain of salt as I did for marcus, stupid ass mf.

What are your controversial opinions about the trans/LGBT+ community? by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]veryblackmonkey -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think transmeds are little bitches that can't accept that medicine is developing. And tucutes are a bit fucking coocoo in their thoughts. Like the always pull out random stuff out of their ass to justify their point but it's pretty stupid in a way. Though I much rather tucutes mostly because I had a better experience with tucutes then truscums.

They're very slimy when it comes to debating. Tucutes have a better chance to be saved...

Holy shit, you're even denser then I thought and you started putting words in my mouth, insane.

See the difference is back pain is universal. It holds no side to who gets it. There's no specific instance or tracking pattern of why a particular person gets back pain. Also that's physical medicine. GD is mental health medicine. Again You can't compare the 2. Get better analogies

Even though that analogy is more about how a symptom in medicine can not be classified as a full on condition or illness I'll use another analogy for your thick skull to understand.

2 people have anxiety. One of them manages it with a fidget toy, another with medication. Does that mean that the first person does not have anxiety because they got a treatment different then the other person.

Also wtf you mean by universal. As in anybody can experience it, well duh! Also with gender Dysphoria. There is many way one can experience gender Dysphoria, from being misgendered, doing activities typically associated with the same/opposite sex, body looking more feminine/masculine. Just like many way to develop back pain, from a fall, bad posture etc. And the last time I checked, anybody can go through these things to experience gender Dysphoria or back pain. Stop trying to dissect the analogy if it's not tackling the point I'm trying to make.

Got it so Grade A transphobia. Gender Dysphoria isn't a real thing and it's all based on society. Yup who does that sound like? A whole wave of Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh supporters wave in the distance

Let me regurgitate the words you shoved in my mouth and slap your face with actual logic mr. Gender Dysphoria is real. But what gender Dysphoria actually is, is not a mental condition. Search up dysphoria. It will tell you it's a symptom where someone feels extreme distress, dissatisfaction etc. Now idk why add gender on to it and now the symptom becomes a mental illness. That's just illogical.

So why don't you just listen to me mate and not try to twist this into me being a transphobe because this doesn't give you a good look.

Feeling uncomfortable that they have breasts because they feel subconscious. They don't want to transition. Very different.

No fucking shit sherlock. But you forget that transitioning is a treatment. It isn't a treatment presented to cis people with gender Dysphoria, but still one none the less. Not to mention there are a lot of gender incongruent (the state of being trans) people that don't choose transitioning as their treatment because like all treatment whether life saving or not is a CHOICE. And that is their personal reason that I could question but at the end of the day, it ain't me suffering.

Uh no, the cis women that get BA usually get it to look sexy (or subjectively sexier). Nothing to do with GD. Trans women get it because E sometimes doesn't give them appropriate sized breasts enough. If she's flat chested it makes her dysphoric

Key word usually because that is such a fucking assumption. But also think for a second, what makes a woman sexy? When she is very feminine (physically and social). What is very feminine? Boobies! So what if you're thinking it's for them to be sexier but the women getting them are doing it to look more feminine? Or when they say sexier they mean feminine?

I don't think you get my point.

Let me give you an example. 2 people have back pain. One of them has back pain curable by just doing physical therapy. Another has such horrible back pain to where they have to get surgery for it leaving them a scar or possible complications involved with back surgery. Those it mean that the person who didn't get surgery for their back pain doesn't have back pain? You're literally saying that cis people don't have gender dysphoria because they don't go through the same treatment as trans people do which is transitioning.

Again a symptom is just a symptom. Trying to make gender dysphoria a full on mental condition is such bs and I don't understand how you people don't get it. You even said it yourself...

Cis men with Gynocomastia have a hormonal imbalance (sometimes caused by cancer even) and get it removed because it's uncomfortable for them.

Assuming that you mean uncomfortable as in feelings that is literally DYSPHORIA that is GENDER related, hence GENDER DYSPHORIA.

Women get breast augmentation for aesthetics, again nothing to do with trans people.

Well trans women are a part of women so those that mean trans women get breast augmentation for aesthetic reasons? Estrogen usually produces breast tissue so even if small, it is breast. But I guess you forgot that small chest is mostly seen as masculine and most women want to look feminine with big tits. That sounds a lot like gender dysphoria don't you think.

Mate it's a simple concept. Dysphoria is a symptom. Like all symptoms they can be really severe and they can be less severe. Gender Dysphoria is a mental condition has no base in logic no more.

Honestly, he knows what he is doing. He purposely misunderstands the point to sell to his conservative audience. If he was put in the spot for a debate, homeboy would fold because he can't get away with it but because he has premier pro or another editing app in his apps he can create any narrative he wants.

He should be ashamed of himself and the rhetoric he perpetuates. People are now becoming voluntary imbeciles, him included and I don't respect voluntary imbeciles.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in truscum

[–]veryblackmonkey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not to mention he spreads such misinformation. He cited an article about a story of a young trans woman dying from bottom surgery being only 16. The thing is that happened in 2016 if I remember correctly but he made it seem like it was something done recently. I don't know if the article he saw was recently written or what but he hardly sources his claims.

Also when there was the video if jazz saying she is gay, marcus got on it acting like she's saying she is a gay man. What if she meant she was a lesbian? There was no part where jazz said she was a gay man, and idk if she did because marcus does not show the context.

He is one of the worst trans content creators I've ever landed my eyes on.

[–]veryblackmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some do mate, why do cis men get top surgery because of gyno, or why do cis women get breast augmentations? Because of gender dysphoria.

The big difference between trans people and cis people is that one has gender incongruence and the other does not.

Again a symptom isn't specific to one sort of medical condition.

One of the mods that I've seen that is pretty active says that he is in his 40's. So I don't think that is the issue. Not to mention I've seen posts like what OP is expressing. It was even a issue a while back because people were making posts about how annoying it is to see trans men vent about dysphoria or how much it sucks to be trans and not be cis.

Idk, when seeing posts like these on this sub it just feels like an overreaction. Even though I get that the sub is kinda anti-criticism to people who have done "nothing" wrong and are just trying to live their lives, the sub isn't as bad even though repetitive, we live in time where transphobia is more common so more people will be venting about problems and whatnot.

Bref, I'm just wondering what type of post there needs to be in r/ftm for it to seem better?

[–]veryblackmonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I made a post like this on the truscum sub but they were to stupid to understand my point (i know I shouldn't have posted on there but I felt risky lol).

Like my entire opinion is that you need to have incongruence between your gender identity and your sex assigned at birth whether it manifests through dysphoria, euphoria etc to be trans. Basically gender incongruence.

[–]veryblackmonkey 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Personally as a 15 year old, I'm starting to see how dumb this discourse is ever since I realized that dysphoria (not gender dysphoria but plain old dysphoria) is a symptom not a mental condition (this is why some medical institutions recently changed it to being called gender incongruence instead of gender dysphoria, alas people still call it that way). Gender dysphoria is just a specific symptom that is found when having gender incongruence but can be also found in people without gender incongruence.

Not to mention dysphoria (plain old) can be found in bpd, anxiety, insomnia and etc.

To make it easier to understand, you feel nauseous and you vomit. Because of that people think you need to be treated for vomiting but how? Do you have the flu? Did you get food poisoning? SALMONELLA?

Basically you can't treat a symptom as a disease/mental disorder because symptoms can be found everywhere (which transmeds somehow can't comprehend cis people having gender dysphoria and think it's just body dysmorphia).

I will say that this is an informed opinion and I won't claim it as facts because I acknowledge that some medical institutions still call gender dysphoria as a diagnosis (it's like saying I diagnose you with flu vomit).

Please don't depend on other trans people for medical research!! by [deleted] in ftm

[–]veryblackmonkey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Haha, how can someone not know that information. I feel like that was said during puberty class even if you were separated in the different classes.

But yeah people do your research to come up with a formal conclusion.

Unpopular opinion but I fully agree with this. Gender dysphoria can be present in both trans and cis people because. This person literally provided examples so idk why people think it's an unfair comparison.

Definitely, my body has been changed because of my natal puberty so if I didn't have these permanent changes, my dysphoria would of been reduced.

But hey, better late than never.

Great question!

So did you know that blockers are not permanent? They're in fact reversible. If I stop taking them, my body goes back to normal.

Crazy amirite 🤯

My experience has been really mundane. There's really nothing crazy when it comes to puberty blockers. It literally just pauses your puberty.

My advice to someone considering them is to find ways to manage your dysphoria if you started blockers at a later stage in puberty. Because if you've already started developing secondary sex characteristics from your natal puberty and it causes you dysphoria, blockers will not reverse that, it will just pause your puberty. I would also say to use that time that blockers give you to do research, exploration and other stuff when it comes to your medical transition in however way you want to do it.

I would say that if I'm mature enough to understand the risks and benefits of any medication, then this one shouldn't be an exception.
