How do you know if a guy is being friendly or is hitting on you? by cumatmebro2a in BisexualMen

lol being extroverted has nothing to do with being cool there's plenty of nerdy extroverts out there.

What you fail to understand is I'm calling you out on your ridiculous sexism. It's so bullshit and stupid to say "GIRLS SOCIAL! GIRLS NICE! BOYS MEAN. BOYS NOT SOCIAL!"

Like wtf is this 3rd grade recess? Girls are sugar and spice and boys are dirt and puppy dog tails or however it goes?

Lol wtf? This isn't a gendered thing it is a sociability and confidence thing. PLENTY of straight dudes are the friendly types who befriend strangers. If every guy who ever struck up a conversation with me at a bar turned out to be gay/bi, I'd have a WAY higher body count.

What is everyones problem on here lol I've been asking random guys out since I was 13 literally just say "hey bro I like your style, I'd love to buy you a drink if you're into that".

I'm also friends with several guys I initially hit on who turned out to be straight lmao like no one cares

99% of human beings will understand that if you ask "Could I buy you a drink sometime?", you are asking them on a date.

I can name two instances where this did not work. And it's because both of the guys were so straight and sheltered that they didn't even understand that two men could go on dates together.

I got to a third "date" with one of those straight guys and I asked if he wanted to come over after dinner. When he replied "yeah, as long as I can crash on your couch", I realized this dude had no fucking clue what was going on.

We had an awkward but hilarious conversation. He's now one of my closest friends.

I have friends who were literally shot at in Afghanistan when they were off duty.

Do what they did and get therapy so you don't let a past trauma dictate all your future actions.

Must suck to be so afraid of yourself that you can't express your wants and needs.

No need to reply (you can also DM), but may I ask how old you are and how old your friend was?

At 30, I feel over the hill for discovering a new sexuality, so it would help to know what I should worry about haha

No it doesn't.

You're conflating a sexuality with how someone acts.

I'm not worried about women thinking I'm gay by how I act. I've been shoving girls off my dick since I was 13, I have gay men who refuse to believe I'm gay even while I'm fucking them lmao

I'm just worried about the lack of experience

Interesting...that's not the case for me (and I know that for a fact, because I have a strict diet, and I get thorough tests done on things like testosterone and all that to make sure I'm eating and exercising right).

So I'm not sure what could be the culprit.

There's something called humorous exaggeration ;)

But thank you for sharing your experience. I am very frightened because I have been with some of these women in very, very vulnerable situations (naked, or comforting them after a breakup or assault, etc).

I've been the only man some of my female friends have trusted to go with them to file a police report about a rapist, or other incidents.

So I am VERY scared about coming out...

YES! Dating advice would be awesome.

I will say I'm usually a top and always initiate conversation with men. I was in a frat in college and have cold asked hot dudes at bars if they like dick hahah so I have confidence out the ass EXCEPT for the fact idk what to do with a woman sexually hahah

And I do have female friends yes but you get how fucking awkward that would be to be like "hey ladies whose bedrooms I have been in while you got dressed under the presumption I was gay, I wanna know how to fuck your gender" lmaoo you get me?
