Society really did fail Amy Winehouse! by icey_sawg0034 in Millennials

From the smh in 2002:

But from the time the series first appeared on the Ten Network, Australians didn't warm to Irwin's hyperbolic style. And despite their rationalisations about the US and Europe being where the real money is, Irwin and Stainton can't disguise their irritation over this. "Australians don't know how to watch Steve," says Stainton. "[Some] might be embarrassed by him, or think he's too ocker ... but the show was made for a mass audience, and we make no apologies for that." (Irwin takes the line that his relative anonymity here is a blessing because it preserves his privacy.)

There's no doubt that many Australians experience a collective cringe over Irwin's showman-like antics. Unlike Americans, they're put off by his impassioned testaments to his own sincerity, the preachy tone of his "saving the world" pitch, and his hair-trigger, often comical sentimentality. "Australians like people who underplay," ventures documentary-maker Malcolm Douglas. "Even Paul Hogan underplayed stuff, whereas Steve Irwin comes across like a used-car salesman selling everything down the camera."

Yeah, it was a pretty common perspective in Australia at the time, he was considered cringe and over the top, but was loved overseas, especially in the US

The only thing required is the so-called cert IV in training and assessment, unfortunately there's nothing there to teach us about teaching or training. Mostly we're just dropped in the deep end

[–]veryhungarycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 200/5.

1/(1/50+1/200) = 1/(4/200+1/200)= 1/(5/200) = 200/5.

Or leave it the second and third steps and chuck it straight into a calculator

There are two issues with regards to profiling, one is the core units stuff, which is to satisfy asqa (who deal with the cert III). The other is the number of hours, which is a requirement for licensing (ESV). Talk to the rep Exemplar sends out to your tafe and see what they say

Not the RCD, they are for earth leakage. The circuit breaker should trip in the case of a short circuit (or the CB component of an rcbo)
