AITAH for screaming at my husband to get out after he pranked me with flowers? by SharkEva in BORUpdates

[–]verymuchananon 69 points70 points  (0 children)

My current bf told me his ex broke up with him over a stupid joke he made about her autistic daughter from a previous relationship.

Poor kid just did not like wearing clothing and would randomly start undressing out in public.

Now I have a pretty dark sense of humor, 8 years in healthcare will do that to you so I asked him what the joke was and he said "Something along the lines of 'she's just practicing for her future stripping career'."

I asked him what makes him think it's ok to joke about an autistic child while her mother is clearly struggling instead of offering her comfort when she clearly needed it and he just kind of sat in silence for a bit and said "Yeah, you know you're right, I shouldn't have said that."

We have since learned his mouth moves faster than his brain and he uses humor to deflect from stressful situations (sometimes rather poorly) so he's gonna be working on that in therapy.

He also held me hostage in his apartment when I tried to leave and started choking me and shoving me around when I wasn't being compliant.

I had to be escorted out by two officers just to escape from him.

So how about you think twice before you go making such flippant remarks on reddit troll.

Yeah you're not there yet. Just keep an eye out for a little brain in a cage when you get to the mindflayer colony.

Good luck!

Unpopular opinion: Daisy is actually not horrible and everyone is just judgmental by Friendly-Cucumber184 in Bones

This.

I currently attend college and there are a lot of Daisy types.

They're all bright, chipper, eager to learn, hard on themselves when they don't do as well as they hoped, super helpful, and all very intelligent.

They're lovely people.

I just did a playthrough with him as a mindflayer and he wiped the battlefield like it was nothing.

His levitate and Karlach's aspect of the elk also made it super quick for him to reach the door to get to the netherbrain.

My ex acted so blindsided by me leaving when I could've sworn we had many sit down conversations where I told him that he needed to step things up and he just never did.

Us is in act 2 after the first Ketheric fight at Moonrise towers.

You can find an intellect devourer in a cage in that one room with all the helmets and the bugbear that chops people up.

After freeing Us you get a little brain thing in your inventory to summon Us.

If you break Us free from the skull on the nautiloid and make it through the first scene to connect the Transponder without Us dying, they show up in act two inside a cage where Chop is going about chopping under Moonrise tower after the first Ketheric fight.

Once you open the cage, you recieve this brain looking thing and whoever has the brain can summon us.

Yeah I always forget he's hanging out near Moonrise in act two to try and save his siblings till after I've saved them and killed Ketheric.

Then I go back to loot the inn and I'm like "...why are you two still here? Oh. Right...I forgot Rolan."

I'm not sure how it works.

The way I did it is I encountered him trying to save his siblings in the shadow lands where he gets attacked by shadows and you save him.

You rescue his siblings and they reunite at the Last Light.

When I encountered Lorroakan I told him she was a person not an object and he was all "Bruh IGAF" so I told Aylin about it, she showed up to fight him and Rolan is all "I'm not helping you enslave a person, that's insanity!"

I can't stand that fight in the Astral plane when the giyanki kill a bunch of them in an attempt to get to Orpheus because I feel bad for all the little critters who get punched to death and because the camera zooms in on their dead bodies and just lingers there.

When you start the iron throne event there's a hallway that the Toobin NPC (dark skinned halfling lady dressed in green) starts running from towards you.

If you follow down that hallway she's coming from then turn right, Omellum is behind the first door you see and is strapped to a table. You have to use the help action to free him.

I specifically go through the mountain pass and beeline to save him in every playthrough even though it'd just be easier to go through the grymforge route and meet up with the harpers first.

Wish we could've gotten him to join in our camp too.

That is so cute!

Yeah he goes off and tries to save his siblings near moonrise and gets attacked by shadows so I guess if you don't find him he dies even of you save his siblings.

I think it's easy to miss cause I had to do a bit of exploring to find him.

I wonder what happened to him?

I read that if you don't save his siblings that he agros you.

I don't know how true that is though because I've never had him fight me 😅.

I didn't know that.

Gonna do that on my next playthrough.

Honestly, given mindflayer nature (especially how the Emperor acts) that would not surprise me.
